The Spurs are running out of options - Collins is staying in Utah.

Cato and Wright are still on the market.

It depends on how much Pop is willing to spend.

Olowokandi might want to play for the LLE for a year, hope to do well, and then cash in next summer.

The Spurs organization has proven time and time again to be smarter than any organization that would sign Michael Olowokandi to any sort of contract.

Kandi-ass is the dumbass for not agreeing to the 60 million dollar deal by the Clippers in the 2002 off-season. The Clippers dodged a bullet the size of a bowling ball on that one.

They've already signed Elson and Butler to offer sheets, and it's likely that they'll get at least Butler. They have no need for Olowoworthless.

This begs the question...

Why the f-ck did Spurs trade Rasho Nesterovic? Didn't they know that Nazr might leave?

I just don't get it. Now they are scrambling for a center...when they ALREADY HAD a center. So Rasho makes a lot of money...so what?? I didn't understand the trade when it happened and now it looks ridiculous....He was probably better than anything they are gonna get in free agency.....

Rasho did nothing in the regular season and playoffs as a Spur. So you keep him and his stupid deal just because he plays Center? THAT doesnt make sense.

They signed Rasho Nesterovic (Stephen A just broke whatever he was holding) so why not the Kandi Man...

Damn these comments seem familiar to what was said on these same boards when teh Spurs signed Glen Robinson and the Suns signed Tim Thomas, and you see how both of those deals worked out. I think with the veteran squad and the leadership in San Antonio Olowakandi would pretty much be forced to maximize his own individual talent.
