this is the question of the year around here isnt it- & on top of karls dislike of jr- how is the front office seemingly also blind
wouldnt you just jump all over signing jr for 5 years at a grand total of 30-35 million?? jr for 5 years would be like iverson & kmart for 1 year
how is these asshats running the show not drooling all over themselves to get a great long term deal
luol deng worth over 10 mill a year? so is ben gordon- i wouldnt have a problem signing jr for 5 years 50 mill- BUT YOU WOULDNT HAVE TO-
signing jr to a 6-7 mill a year would be a huge move for the future of the franchise- that would maybe even lock kleiza in a little below that by the end of next year- we all know the cap managment is TERRIBLE right now- how great of a spot would the cap be in 3 years w melo at 15, nene at his 10 & jr & kleiza adding up to less than 13-15?
they always talked about one of the keys to that bulls dynasty was having scottie pippen locked up in a tiny contract- this is the time to sign jr to that pippen like contract and give the roster flexibility for a long time
