Default How good do you see Chris Douglas-Roberts becoming?

I think he is better then his predicted 25th pick, what you guys think?

Me too, and I think he will end up higher. He's a kind of player who's better in a game situation than individual work outs.

After Heat were said to be getting Rose i watched alot of Memphis games and got to say i was impressed with Roberts.

Memphis must be hurting, to lose Rose, Roberts and Dorsey all in one year

I kept laughing as I watched these these draft specials. He's not a great athlete (although he's a good one), he's not a great shooter (although he's a good one) which are two of the reasons he's dropping as far as he is (he other is his kind of unorothodox playing style, which is productive but GMs rarely like to take chances on guys they don't really understand). The thing that got me every time is the phrase "he just knows how to play basketball", which kept coming up about Douglas-Roberts, and is something I'm not sure I can say about at least 50% of this draft class.

Most likely a 12-13ppg scorer for his career. Would be better suited coming off the bench.

I see a double digit scorer. Might have a few 16+ppg seasons as a starter, but for the most part a backup/part-time starter. I think if he reaches his potential he could have a Ricky Davis type career of 14pts, 3ast, 4reb, 1stl, 45% shooting, and 37% from 3.

I think he is going to become one of the main players out of the draft

WOW. I am amazed Douglas-Roberts went at #40 of the second round. WHAT A STEAL!!!!!!! Mark my words, every GM will choke on their stupidy. If this guy gets quality minutes, he'll get the job done, and he's so difficult to guard. This guy will be really good.

From what I hear (NBA-TV) CDR did poorly at most of the workouts leading up to the draft. If he repeats his performances, he will be in the NBDL and out of the league. I like his offensive skills, now let's hope he learns to play better defense.

I hope this isn't a Maurice Ager situation. Great 2 guard in college but...
