If the Clipps did this not to take Westbrook its really horrible because anyone else would of been there

But Westbrook would of been gone before 7 but they didn't need to give up two first-rounders.

But if he is gone they can just take Bayless or Gordon.

Why would you trade up to 4 to draft Westbrook? Talk about a REACH

good trade for the clips? they got ripped off IMO. this is on top of them totally BUSTING on Shaun Livingston (from illinois).

you know they want Bayless.

seattle actually makes a good trade for once, good for them and their fans.

#4 is too high for eric gordon.

A horrible trade still in my opinion unless what I previously posted occurs.
Clippers have been trying to get Gordon or Mayo.
Last I heard they were most impressed by those two. Minus Rose and Beasley, ofcourse.

Horrendous trade on the Clippers' part, but then again, they are the Clippers, what do you expect.

I mean really, this is butt-rape galore. This franchise deserves to suck. You play in the same building as the LA Lakers and you haven't been even competitive since your inception and now you're giving up a first rounder to move up 3 spots and you're not even going to get a future allstar out of it?

Here is a tip for anyone here who might be a GM one day, and I say this with all humility, I understand it's a tough job with a lot of pressure and everyone's going to question everythin you do and you're doing your best and I get that. But FIRST ROUNDERS = PRECIOUS DIAMONDS. DO NOT GIVE THEM AWAY LIKE THEY'RE NOTHING.

Do not sell them for $3 million- that's what the Suns did, and they're suffering because of it. Do not trade them unless it is completely unavoidable and doing so will vault you into championship contention. Do not give them away to relieve salary or for "cash considerations." GMs apparently think their roster is "set" and they can just cut off roster development in a few years and that'll be best... yeah, maybe that's true in your imagination or in video games (not even video games anymore), but in real life things change, players get older, things go awry. Always keep your first round picks. If you don't want to partake in a particular draft, at the very least trade it to another team for a future #1 top-20 protected or something. Anything. But the draft is essential. The Spurs got Tony Parker and Manu both outside of the top 20.

Westbrook would have been there at #7. From what I've read the Knicks like Bayless and Augustine the most, which is why we made this deal imo to get Bayless UNLESS the front office knows something about Mia taking Mayo and Minny taking Love.

If Portland does get #5, Westbrook won't be a Knick:

The Blazers are also interested in the Grizzlies' pick, according to ESPN. They have a number of assets, including Travis Outlaw, that they can entice Memphis with. The Blazers are reportedly most interested in Russell Westbrook and Kevin Love.

The Knicks like him more than Bayless and i doubt they would take Augustin so high.

This is they're second fav after o.j

From what I heard, it's Mayo/Bayless/Augustine with Gordon being the insurance option, so I doubt we dealt for Eric when he would have been there at #7. Like I've posted, they must have a feeling one of the big three might fall to 4 or it is that they want to guarantee Bayless

If Portland does get #5, Westbrook won't be a Knick:

If trade talks go through, Portland will get either the #5 or the #6 picks...

Actually if the Przybilla and Knick trades went down Portland could end up with the #5 AND #6...

But assuming Portland just switches with NYK, the first 7 should look like...

1. Rose
2. Beasley
3. Mayo
4. Bayless (Clips via Seattle)
5. Augustine/Westbrook
6. Augustine/Westbrook (Portland via New York)
7. Lopez (Seattle via Clips)

True with Portland because Memphis stopped the deal with the Knicks because Lee's agent doesn't want him going to Memphis and Lee wont resign next year with Memphis.

No he wouldnt have. Stop telling people that like you have the draft figured the f*ck out. Geeze. Westbrook is a reach at 4 or 7. The fact they gave up a future first to draft a reach is laughable.
