pg's in front of tj ford not in order
Baron Davis
Stephon Marbury
Joe Johnson
Steve Nash
Jason Kidd
Jason Terry
Sam Cassell
Luke Ridnour
Chris Paul
Gilbert Arenas
Mike Bibby
Jameer Nelson
Chauncey Billups
Kirk Henrich
Allen Iverson
Tony Parker
Well first of all how can you say Kidd is not a top PG when he is top five in every major statistic for a PG and is the BEST leader of them all, come on dude.
Second, I'm talking value, and ur saying you would want Baron "I'm always injured and Shooting Bricks" Davis, Stephon "Never been on a good team" Marbury and Sam "I played good for the first time in 4 years for contract year" Cassell all over T.J on your team. If so, have fun losing...
of course your gonna lose, with Davis' and Marbury' contract against your salary cap. No knock on them, they are good when they want to play good, but how will they improve your team when their salary can pay 3 other players?
not sure why people are hating on sam cassell when he's the only player on these lists that has won a championship and been to atleast the 2nd round of the playoffs with FOUR different teams. not to mention he's a big game/clutch player.
nash
paul
kidd
arenas
cassell
are the top 5 in the league right now.
edited: can't believe i forgot arenas
hinrich = #6 though.

For all you saying Ford doesn't deserve to be in the top ten:
You all think Colangelo is a genius and think he knows a thing or two about basketball, correct? Well then why would he trade the ROY runner up and a talented asset for no less then a top ten PG? That doesn't seem like something a genius would do.

now thats kind of silly. can't say a guy is top 10 simply because a certain individual traded a valuable asset for him.
i haven't really thought out a top 10, but it'd be tough. i don't think highly of marbury whatsoever, especially as a point guard, but there is no denying that he has serious talent.
and after two seasons, its too hard to judge a player unless he's had a chris paul type season. he averaged 12 ppg, 6 apg, 4 rpg last year which is very solid. if his numbers go up after this upcoming season like we all hope they will... he'll definetely solidify himself in the top 10, if not the top 8.
Why because Villa didn;t fit in with the Raptors. He was horrible small foward. Wasn't on a level with Jamison or Odom but played as bad of D as Jamison. He was a great pick and he was turned into a very promising young Point. If BC was the GM last yr I don't think he would have taken Villa.

Because Villy is NOwhere near top 10 in his position.
Ya, and Marbury, Davis and Kidd are better then Arenas-Get a brain.
OMG do you watch the same NBA that everyone else does. You really think Marbury and Davis are better than Arenas...Kidd, you can make a case, but he's in the downward curve of his career in his prime he was the best...
As for Marbury & Davis...no way, did you see the series Arenas had against the Cavs...case closed!
As for TJ, I'm a Raps fan but I don't think he is top 10, yet...hopefully he will work hard this season and it will pay off for the Raps...
