Default Josh Childress

I feel that with the uneasy situation in ATL with the ownership, and the fact that they need to resign Josh Smith, plus they have Marvin Williams to take up more minutes at the forward spot maybe the raps can use the MLE on Childress. I really like his game, he fills a need at SF, and he's young. I know some might hate on his shooting form, but he is long, drives, and could develop into a solid defender.

Thoughts?

I like Childress but I just don't see the Hawks letting him walk for just the MLE. If a team offers him more then the MLE then I could see the Hawks not matching, but I highly doubt that they let him walk for the MLE and seeing how that is all Toronto can offer, I doubt that we see Childress sign with the Raps.

He would be a pretty good fit, but the Raps don't have enough cap room to make the Hawks not match.

Hawks will match MLE without question.

Aside from the teams' interest.. do you think Childress wanna play for us??? in TO, he can be a starter rather than bench on ATL

thoughts?

Childress would be an ideal SF for the future for us. He'd team with Bosh and Jose for hopefully a long time. He's as long as Moon and far more skilled. MLE is a great deal for this guy considering Kapono somehow got the full MLE too.

But sounds like Atl is keeping him.
