Default Sign and Trade: Baron Davis for Jason Kidd

Works out money wise, Kidd is from the Bay area and Davis on the Mavs = title

Who agrees with this trade?

What? Atleast it works unlikes 75% of trade ideas here, Kidd has connections in Oakland and it could give them cap relief with Kidds contract.

I can dream right?

Would love to see Davis in Dallas, but only for the sake of the irony.

That is true and you can dream but the chances of this happening are probably a little less than 0%. It would be fun to watch the guy who destroyed Dirks MVP season play on the same team as him. If you had Devin Harris you might have been able to work out a trade but now you have Kidd.

FYI They could just not sign Baron Davis and have cap relief.

yeah you can dream, but serious trade proposal artists don't post trades that both sides wouldn't agree to, but I guess kudos that the salaries match I guess...good math.

GState would probably rather just keep their cap space and go after Brand or Arenas or something. Conversely, i doubt the Mavs would want to lock themselves into a long term contract with Baron. If Kidd doesn't work out next season he turns into a valuable and HUGE expiring contract.

I would love to see him in LA.

Doubt it though.
