Talking Just met J.R. Smith

He's a cool dude. And can really throw down f*ckin sweet dunks. I met him at a celebrity game earlier today.

He was wetting nearly half court shots with ease. He had like 52 points.

i really want to see him starting consistently for a consistent 35 minutes a game. the numbers he would put up would be ridiculous and he would potentially make the all-star team

i could seriously see him putting up 25+ ppg in 35 minutes if he got that time

He's exactly what Kobe was when he first came into the league. If he puts in that same work ethic, who knows. Maybe he can be just as good

Maybe better, because believe it or not, he's more athletic and a better shooter than Kobe at this age. Sorry.

Yeah the Spurs are looking at him. But truth be told, the only good thing Karl did this year was lower this kids value in the market. He could've put up a 16+ points with ease if given a bit more free reign, and/or minutes, and Im talking with AI and Melo on the team. Karl himself being a headcase got the benefit of the doubt and made everyone think JR was a headcase, wasn't getting minutes due to inconsistency on the court (not true), and now Denver will be able to re-sign him at possibly even under the MLE level or right at it.

this is just not true...not even remotely true. This is from someone who has played ball with JR on his squad since 8th grade to 12th grade
