are you talking about prime Kobe or Kobe now...Kobe was way quicker then JR and could jump from different angles plus had insane body control. JR has poor lateral movement, and cant up off one foot. Sad thing is even Kobe now can just blow by JR without making a move.

There is more to athletism then 2 foot jumping...I was on here before the All AMerican game telling people about him. But dont go overrating his athleticism.

Yes, you're right, JR can't jump off one foot.

Good job, its one dunk. But he cant do off a lot of angles. And he really has to get set for it, its always been like that. He was chopping his steps from half court.

Then compare that to the body control displayed in something like this and you see the difference.

Mhhm. Lemme get some of that.

How can you possibly compare J.R. to Kobe? And to say he could be as good someday....

Come on.

he could never be as good as kobe, but he could be a all-star caliber player and one of the best scorers in the league

Yeah, pass it here too

I'll agree that it didn't make much sense for Karl to limit his minutes as much as he did but most other coaches would have done the same because he gives up as many points (or more) as he puts on the board. Terrible defender. In Karl's case it shouldn't really matter though, so that's why I was surprised there.
