Default Goliath -vs- Oden "The Little"

Quote:
During the 2007 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, Dorsey famously called Ohio State center Greg Oden "overrated as a big man," said that Oden "might be as good as Joey Dorsey," and called himself Goliath and Oden the "the little man." Dorsey also predicted a 20 rebound game for himself. The Buckeyes defeated the Tigers by a score of 92-76 and Dorsey finished with zero points and just four rebounds.

Next Great big man rivalry?

Dorsey did well against Kevin Love this year though... i think he got something like 15 rebounds while defending Love well.

Because they have Yao but the trade isnt bad at all they got donte green . I just thought that dorsey is better of to a different team because he will barely see mins playing for the rockets they already have landry and scola not unless they wont resign motombo.

He seems like a decent roleplayer. Could be a Ben Wallace lite for the Rockets.

kevin love isnt nearly the physical specimen as greg oden though. if dorsey is going to make a name for himself, he has to be able to defend/rebound against the odens, stoudemires, howards, garnetts, boshs, etc. kevin love could turn out to be a good player, but dorsey will have to guard people a lot more physically imposing then him

Dorsey was a top tier defensive center. arguably the best defensive center in the draft.

I think Green is horrible. I live in the Syracuse area and am a huge fan. He took stupid unnecessary shots while Johnny Flynn busted his ass to get wins.
