Default 2009 Season

Who do you think will be the 8 playoff seeds for next year in each confrence?

I say

East
1.Boston
2.Detroit
3.Washington
4.Toronto
5.Orlando
6.Clevland
7.Miami
8.Philidalphia

West
1.Lakers
2.Hornets
3.Utah
4.San Antonio
5.Pheonix
6.Portland
7.Denver
8.Seattle

Lakers could go 2 Hornets could go 1, its a toss up really. Seattle at 8 is a little bold but I think it could happen. I think Portland could be even higher if their rookies (besides Oden who will) preform.

I know its a little early, with free agents not even being signed yet but as of right now who would be your top 8.

Umm where are the Rockets? Seattle LOL

BTW these are my seedings.

1. Lakers
2. Hornets
3. Houston
4. Spurs
5. Utah
6. Clippers (if they sign brand/baron
7. Suns
8. Portland, Denver, and Dallas fight for last spot

Damn the Western Conference is stacked. There's absolutely no room in the Playoffs. This year has a chance to be even more competitive than last year. I don't see Denver getting any worse with Carmelo nearing his prime and AI being the freak of nature he is.. Nowitzki still in his prime in Dallas, with a young Josh Howard and a still capable Kidd. Portland who were very competitive last year and adding a #1 draft pick Center and a PG in Jerryd Bayless. Steve Nash still has 1-2 years of top PG play left while Stoudemire is becoming an absolute beast, but not having Marion while Shaq becomes less and less of player will hurt them. A Clipper lineup of Davis, Gordon or Maggette, Thornton, Brand, and Kaman is scary good. We could possible have 4-5 teams fighting for the 7th and 8th spot.

Not better than Utah, Phoenix AND Portland, though I could see them being better than one or two if their coaching continues to improve and they avoid more injury.

The Rockets are one of the best in the West if thats what you two are refering too. Sonics won't fair too well lol, sowwy!

Clippers, if they obtain Baron Davis and keep Elton Brand will be a problem in the West.

Baron Davis
Eric Gordon/Cuttino Mobley
Al Thorton
Elton Brand
Chris Kaman

Thats a serious starting five.

I like this a lot actually, I completely forgot about Indiana who will be good. I don't like the Rockets as much as everyone else apparently

Lakers and Hornets will kill Rockets even with better coaching, they just have better talent. (Thats for Jordan L)

Yeah i would move them up once those transactions were final.

Flint Tropics are better then that TruthKGRay espically with Cofffe Black back on their team.
