Greece erases China(and Yao), advances to quarter finals

Greece has made it to the final 8 after a rout of China(95-64). China had a very good start and led by as much as 12 points during the 1st quarter after a lazy start by the Greek team who quickly recovered and with a 17-4 run ended the first half leading by 5 (41-36). After that the Greek defense locked down on China who finished the game with 23 turnovers against only 2(!) by the greek team. Ming Yao the leading scorer of the championship(28p before this game) was held to just 10 points in 31 minutes.
The Greek team was lead by Papaloukas who had 19 poits on 70% shooting and Spanoulis who scored 15 and (60% FG). Another great game for Sofoklis "Baby Shaq" Schortsianitis who scored 10(100%) points in 15 minutes played great defense on Yao, dunked in front of him and got a 3point play against the 8 inches taller Yao.
Wang was the only good surpirse for China who scored 16 points and had 6 rebounds.
Greece will be facing France in the quarter finals and whoever wins will probably find the US team in front of them in the semifinals.

China already overachieved by advancing into the round of 16, so I'm proud of Yao Ming...especially since he's just coming off a broken foot injury. This NBA season will be a great one for the Rockets if the injury bug doesnt bite again.
