I'm going to say it's between Tayshaun Prince, Josh Howard and Shawn Marion. All three guys can play lock down defense, all can shoot from anywhere on the floor and all three are very athletic. I'm doing this in terms of comparing to Scottie Pippen not in terms of creating an unbeatable model.

I think if you were to put Kobe and LeBron on the same team then they wouldn't get along and would want to be split up. Same can be said about Carmelo Anthony, Paul Pierce, Ron Artest and Tracy McGrady.

I haven't seen enough of Danny Granger and Gerald Wallace to make a good comment on what he would do with LeBron so I'll leave that alone.

Josh Smith, Iggy, and Kirilenko aren't great scorers. Iggy gets his points but he can't score from everywhere. Smith needs to work on his jump shooting and AK-47 is inconsistant although Kirilenko and Smith have outstanding defense.

Edit: I know LeBron and Carmelo are good friends but that doesn't mean that they would get along on the basketball court.

In terms of being unbeatable I would say Dirk.
He has the jumper LeBron doesn't have.

Michael Redd, easily.

A legit 20-25 ppg scorer and a guy who is a great 3 point shooter. Lebron's needs shooters and not only can Redd shoot but he can create his own shot as well. He is a guy who can score with and without the ball and that's what Lebron needs.

Lebron needs a bigtime scorer who can play defense and shoot the 3 and spread the floor.

And they have to be able to catch and shoot because Lebron basically plays Pt Guard!

Michael Redd is perfect!
Paul Pierce would be better!
Jason Richardson is another who comes to mind not sure bout his defense though.
Melo scks on defense
It's got to be someone who can drop 40 and bury a 3 pointer!

I think people should a just their thinking with the MJ AND PIPPEN combo idea.

To do this you have to understand,
Lebron would have to be in Pippen's role as if Pippen were the Star and Jordan was the number 2 guy!
