Default Raps small forward, Rudy Fernandez!

Wouldn't he be a perfect fit as a small forward for the Raps? The kid was amazing yesterday in the Gold Medal game. He has so much presence and mental toughness. First time he falters in Portland, (likely not going to happen), if i was Bryan Colangelo, i'd be sending first round draft choices and Bargnani to Portland for him. Calderon and Fernandez together, would be something to watch. If i can only dream!

He's only 6-5, so he's not a SF.

Also, since he is owned by another team, the same could be said for any player in the NBA. I would hope Bargs and a #1 would get more then him, even though I am high on Fernandez.

I don't think we have anything that Portland wants other than Jose Calderon. Rudy is also a SG not a SF. I think we should go after Luther Head hes a good player that seems to be the odd one out because Rockets have Battier, Artest, Barry, and Mcgrady playing the 2-3.
Maybe like Hump for Head straight up would get him

I'd take it in a second. Have you looked at that backcourt? He'd immediately make me feel great about the Raptors' chances.

Yes I have looked at our guards....which is why you don't give up a #1 pick, but the top pick overall a few years ago for Rudy Fernandez, a guy who hasn't played a second in the NBA. We could get more for that package.

Portland is not about to let him, or anybody else go anywhere right now. They are stacked, have a two to three years to evaluate everybody before being forced to make any decessions.

Portland has a rediculous amount of depth and talent right now. Albeit young and somewhat inexperienced but they have the makings to be the next Spurs...(championship contenders for years and years and years...)
