Default Nocioni contract

I was reading the Nocioni will be a free agent next season and Bulls fully intend on bringing him back. How much interest do you think he'll recieve from other teams, and how much money do you think he'll command??

I guess it's hard to say. Everybody thinks he could be a superstar someday, but I think he could make a great second option. If he plays as good as he did in the playoffs this season then he will probably get about 7 million a year, but he has to improve his shooting and play 20/6 basketball.

That sounds good 30 mill over 4 years sounds fair, I hope he doesnt get greedy and ask for the world, because Gordon and Deng will be free agents the next year and are better players IMO. 7 Mil a year tho sounds like a good idea tho as you say.

I think 5 for 40 is fair for Noc. If he continues to get better, it's a good deal for both sides.

Well you have to consider that Luol Deng is going to cost money and he plays the same spot, just my opinion, but theres not point in paying Nocioni 40 mill over 5 and then the same to deng. Deng might even cost more by the time his contract is up.

Personally I dont like the idea of paying two ppl in the same position that much money, thats what the Knicks do. And I definetley dont want to go down their path! They may have to choose between the two, in which case I hope they choose Deng, not only because he is more talented, but he is much younger.
