Nope. Coach Fox borrowed some of LBs defensive stars--I could have sworn that I saw Adam Morrison in a Panthers uniform.
The way things are looking we could go 10-6 and miss the playoffs. At least Jake was better than the last 2 games. The certainly don't get any easier from here.
Today is the day! Biggest showdown in Panthers Football history. I can't believe freakin Jeremy Bridges, what an idiot. But, we have a chance to take the division lead tonight and never look back. LET'S GO PANTHERS!!!
It might be the biggest showdown in regular season history, but not counting any playoff games of course.
I still think the last game of the regular season a few years ago was the biggest regular season game in Panthers history. The season where we started 1-7 and somehow clawed our way to the last game of the year and eventually lost 23-20 or something (memory is a little sketchy on that one)
Sorry but I think that it will be a miracle if we win this game. Jeff Garcia is just so damned good. But I can't wait to watch the game, anyway. (Sorry, Bobcats.) I bet TarCat will be there. (Unfortunately the Panthers ceramic mugs that I ordered for me and my husband for Christmas haven't arrived yet. But then our Bobcats ceramic mugs haven't brought the Cats any luck, so....)
I've just been sitting here listening to the Bobcat's game waiting for Panthers to come on. Bobcats playing good, hope they keep it up. 10 minutes til gametime!

But Jeff Garcia aside (pound his ass, will ya!)
GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!
Well I'll happily eat crow. As long as I can have some good old-fashioned horseradish with it. I can't remember the last time I've seen the Panthers play with such a will to win. IMO it was an exciting win and a necessary one if we are to make the playoffs.
It was exciting enough that I forgot that I was freezing my butt off. How cool is it to have not one but two top notch backs hitting their prime in December?
Wish I could have been there. I bet it was much better than seeing it on ESPN. It was so obvious they were pulling for Tampa. They'd get really excited whenever the Bucs would score but would almost seemingly ignore the fact the Panthers scored, even on the most awesome of plays.
My ceramic NFL/Panthers coffee mugs arrived today. They're way cool. The Bobcats ceramic mugs don't compare. But then I guess that the Cats should be spending their money on a PF rather than classy coffee mugs. :
