they slow down the pace worse than the Germans did in the 1st half versus the USA. i remember when iverson, duncan, and company barely beat Greece 62-61.
That was also the team that got upset by Italy, Puerto Rico, and need a miracle half court buzzer-beater to beat Germany; teams which this US squad has handled rather easily.
Team US is for real this tournament, I don't see us losing but if someone upsets us it will be Argentina.
i just think we should respect the 7-0 Greeks, that's all. they've got some brickhouses down low. not like the wimpy germans or puerto ricans. we are really going to need dwight howard and brad miller tonight...this morning...or whatever it is.
Both USA and Greece are the deepest teams in the tournament. USA has the best athletes and the best offence in the tournament, while Greece has the best team players and the best defence, along with a coach who wants to win and knows how to transmit that to its players. I think that it'll come down to who wants it more!
Being Greek I want Greece to win by 9 but logic tells me that after a very close first half, Greeks will choke in the third and USA will win by 12.
In the other game I say Spain over Argentina by 18.
