Default The nate robinson block

it's actually not that impressive, because nate robinson could dunk, so that means he can jump high enough that his hands would be above the rim.

Now yao ming is dunking the ball, so it be just a bit over the rim, so technically anyone that can dunk can block anyone else. It doesn't matter if yao is 7'6 or 9'10 he still have to put the ball in the basket, so at one point the ball has to be just above the rim. which Robinson could block it.

BTW talking about the robinson block on yao in case anybody wondering what I'm talking about.

Unfortunately yao is unable to shoot like iverson so anyone that can dunk should have a chance at blocking yao or anyone else for that matter

blocking yao no matter what your height is, will be memorable. People always like big guys getting blocked by smaller guys. And yao-nate are the extremes. 7'6 vs 5'7.

Wrong. Horrible logic. Yao got blocked cuz he's soft. Physics has little to do with this.

I meant the logic of a 9"10 guy being able to get his shot blocked just because his defender can dunk. That's pretty ridiculous.

That pretty much sums it up. Even an opposing center feels good about blocking Yao because he's 7'6.. But Nate is one of the shortest players in league history vs. one of the tallest.

If you get blocked on a shot attempt or a hook shot or something like that, it wouldn't be as big a deal. We've seen Kobe, D-Wade, Lebron and others make power blocks based on their athleticism as well, but the fact of the matter is, how often do you see a 300+ pound Center blocked on a power dunk attempt by a 5'7 combo guard?

I don't completely recall being that it was years and years ago but I remember Shaq was either going up for a hook shot or layup.
