Default Team USA lose; FIBA should change the rules

Apparently, the world has created a "different game", as most people call it, to beat the Americans. Let's breakdown how this "different game" is causing the US to lose to a mediocre team like Greece:
- Teams are allowed to play team defense, how the hell are the US players going to break mad ankles?
- There's some dirty play called a "pick and roll" that the US players has not seen before. It's a cheap play that works everytime, like one of those plays you call everytime when you play Madden and you're at 4th and 10 and need a touchdown.
- The US players are missing freethrows, I don't know what they did with the rims or the court, but its a "different game" somehow.

There's probably more excuses...er.. i mean reasons, but its late now.

Did you see that Greece player just kick the ball? That was very rude and disrespectful!

Team USA loses. But hey, its ok, World Championship means nothing, USA still best in the world. Let's just rename the NBA Finals to be World Finals, like the World Series!

Who was it that said Greece has average shooters? LOL

D-wade threw the ball when he won the finals, does that make him disrespectful?

It just means that talents like LeBron, Carmello, and Dwyane don't have what it take to lead our country to prominence. Maybe we need to question the officiating in the NBA. These guys would get calls that a Shane Battier would never dream of getting. And that probably explains why they average 25 ppg or more. And why other teams aren't allowed to play defense on these guys. Cause if they do allow defense on L,C,D, then they wouldn't be what the NBA hypes them up to be.

It has exposed NBA stars as crappy defenders, and college coaches as overrated. No more Mike Montgomeries coming to the NBA and stinking up the place, and no more Dwyane Wade all defensive team selections.

The original poster was just being sarcastic, and it was great.

I agree that NBA should change the rule. ADOPT THE FIBA RULE, because that's REAL basketball. Leave the nonsense to streetball.

they should get rid of illegal defense, but if they did they would prob have to move the line in about a foot.

That would allow real zones to be played, the NBA won't allow that
