Default Ronny Turiaf in GS

He was more physical than athletic in LA.
What do you think is he going to do in GS? He is a player who had good games when bryant was not on the court, so now at GS, do you expect him getting near 15 minutes per game? and what numbers?

With the trade of Camby to clippers, what do you expect Steven Hunter will do this season?
Do you think he will be more productive in fantasy terms than Ronny Turiaf?

Turiaf over Hunter, easily.

GS's bigs are kind of thin, especially if Harrington gets dealth. After Beidrins, they don't have much down low.

Hunter has a chance to average a couple of blocks per game, so if you were short on blocks, he could be an option. Of course, that depends on how his knee's do, and if he actually gets any burn. I have no idea if the Nuggets will make him the starting centre, or if they'll play one of Nene or K-Mart at the 5.

in my league it doesn't matter if you lack blocks or assists.
Points are counted as pt+rb+ast+st+bl-tf-to

So, if you think turiaf wil average 10-5 and hunter 5-5, I would choose turiaf.

I think it's pretty much impossible to correctly predict what either of them will get because the amount of minutes they'll be getting is up in the air at the moment. Biendris barely gets 30 minutes a game in GS, so I don't imagine Turiaf will get enough to put up worthwhile fantasy stats. But as I said, it's impossible to tell at the moment what sort of minutes they'll get. If blocks don't matter to you, then I don't see much point in you getting Hunter. In your case, it'd definatly be Turiaf over Hunter if you had to chose.

If I were you, i'd rather get someone like Paul Milsap or Andy V instead of Turiaf though. Hell, you could probably get Ben Wallace with a very late draft pick.

Well, I have already paul millsap, but he is in my first team, so I cant get it to the second.
well, I can, but I would loose big minutes in C position in the first.
I think I will stay with oden, jason thomson and turiaf and we'll see what happens.

And with the trade of Francisco Elson to milwaukee, Turiaf or Elson?

Unfortunately none of these guys should really be on a fantasy team.

I am not sure the mins Turiaf will get. He's not a Nelson type big. Wright and the rook might see more play this year. Elson should not be on a team. Wow....Hunter.....are there no other options?

No. You must know we are 8 teams, and every team has 12 players.
Si the best centers are in that teams.
and every one of us have the second team, and we also have our players, centers among them.
So, as you can guess, there are not too much C-eligibility players avalable.

Sorry I am not trying to be rude, but I can't even comprehend the majority of this post.

An 8 team league is very shallow....should be no scrubs on rosters.

Let's see:

two leagues: first league, and second league.
The champion of the hoops is the champion in the first league. the second one is for determining the draft order next year.
The second league can not contain players which are in any team in the first league.
So, I have in my first team, for example, Baron Davis, boozer, zach, millsap, josh howard...
And in my second team, I have Rip hamilton, mike miller, mo williams,...

The goal is to make the first team, the best one to fight for the championship. And the second team, a good one because the best players are in the first league. Do you understand?

If there are 16 teams in this league, then I guess Turiaf is the best of the worst.

Exact!!
As every one has at least two centers, there are not too many centers available. So I think I have made the best choice picking turiaf from free agency.
