not bad .... his offensive numbers are a little better, but Artest's defensive numbers are a little better. Looks like Harrington has a slight advantage over Ron

you might want to consider how harrington was on a team where he would look good in comparison where as artest wass on a team where he was not first option for the offence

and the thought of harrington being better then artest is just silly

Harribgton is better in offence... but Artest can play both defence and offence... he can score... he's still better than Harrington... it's because Harrington is getting the ball more in Atlanta...

i agree artest is way better than al if he wasnt y they let harrington leave and not artest??????? and those comparisons are way off....al harrington was on a dead beat team and still onli barly avg. 18 points a game artest isnt even the first option on the kings n offense not even string 2 its bibby and brab respectively...... then artest and he avgs almost 18 ppg ....it clearly shows u guys dnt know what player means .... player doesnt mean scorer player means all around in this sense so forget the idea of baby al being better than artest its jus ludacris :stupid: (who eva made that thread up) but big ups on the home work of it and that photo very vintage

Default sweeeeeet!!!!

I can't wait to see a possible lineup of:

PG: Tinsley (hopefully 100% healthy)
SG: Jackson (hopefully him and Carlisle see eye to eye)
SF: Granger
PF: Harrington
C: O'Neal

Not saying that'll be the starting 5, just a nice lineup to see

Intangibles are what seperates Ron from Al. Ron made an instant impact on Sacremento and brought them to the playoffs. Al put up good numbers in ATL, but he didn't help them win. Ron is a better player.

i disagree. al harrington is a really really good ball player but to me hes not better then artest. to me artest is a top ten in the nba. there is nothing he can to on the basketball court. and he is one of the best defenders in the nba. if he wanted to he can average 30 but he wants to focus on the defensive end also.

i dont get why people say stuff like "omg i can't believe he only averaged 18 points on a crap team!", that doesn't even make sense. It's amazing he got the averages he did and had to play with the crap that was around him. It takes more than one player to play the game and he did the best he could with what was given to him. Now he has more quality around him in Indiana and I expect an even better statistical season from him.

Should Harrington play SF or PF? That's a big question

yes, it is. there's so many choices it boggles my mind. i would prefer him as the starting pf and o'neal as center...but does o'neal want to play as the center or pf? al could start as sf, but that would mean granger would come off the bench(does granger deserve to start yet?). here's another question...who starts at the 2 spot, jackson or daniels???

indy always seems to have a good, deep bench no matter what though and they are the kind of team that u can't count out. i gotta go see some preseason games!

i think its all going to matter on the team that indy will be playing...if Pacer were to play a team like Miami, im sure Foster would be C, JO at PF and Harrinton at SF...Indy has a lot of different flexable lineups next year
