He came up short under pressure. It's okay since he's still young and in his ecf debut. But we saw how this couldn't be lopsided at least.

Indiana is very dangerous if Tyrese is back to his pre-injury form. Which he looks to be since the 2nd round.

He got screen by the foul line ... why.

Nah Brown did a good job getting separation so that as soon as he caught the ball he could start a shooting motion if he wanted. By the time Siakam got there he was risking a four point play.
I agree with you it makes sense in certain situations but it was too risky on the catch and shoot IMO.

Lol Seattle fell off a cliff after DJ left. They made the finals twice with him.
Then with the Suns he made first team All NBA defense twice. And he made 1st team All NBA with the Suns but in your mind he was a throwaway?
DJ was far more accomplished than anyone Jokic has ever played with. None of Jokic's current teammates have...

Plainly, the Timberwolves out-Nugget the Nuggets.
The Nuggets won the 2023 championship due to Joker’s all-around brilliance & Murray’s clutch shooting and their ability to overwhelm teams with their size. But the Timberwolves was their mirror image because both teams were built by the same guy, Tim Connelly, with the same basketball...

What a finish. Was in attendance tonight. Place was rocking.
My takeaways: Siakam in that little pick and pop was working wonders for Indiana. Halliburton is disgusting. Haven’t really watched him much this season, but he’s legit. Finally the Celtics showed up in the clutch.
We stole that one to be honest. Have to come out better in game...

What do you do, as the defense?
-Foul
-Give open 2 pointer and guard the 3 point line.
-Play man to man defense and hope they miss the 3 pointer
Obviously, I just finished watching the Pacers-Celtics game.
Why were the Pacera running around the court when only. 3 pointer can hurt them?

Mazzulla needs to address the defense. Didn't sic Brown on Siakam until literal the last minute and need a better way to deal with Turner. Hopefully Tillman situation is resolved positively and then maybe give him some of those reserve minutes on Turner. Tatum and whoever else also needs to deal with Toppin. Brown is Siakam kryptonite so no need...

You saved the URL. The thing is that I created that URL last night to share it in the thread. I downloaded a copy of the image a couple of months ago, and it was easier to just uploaded the copy that I have than to find the original URL. The name of JPG is "Screenshot-2024-03-19-18-29-41-74-92460851df6f172a4592fca41c"

The sonics traded DJ for a guy 4 years older on an expiring contract, Walton got dumped by Portland and ended up on the Clippers.
Bird won with drafted guys and throwaways which Jokic could also win with but he hasn't.

Yeah Reese was gettin a lil greedy towards the end of the game. Lil too much glory hunting. He got lucky White fouled him on that three, it was a terrible shot. The game winner he missed was a bad shot. And the play where he dribbled out of bounds, Siakam was tryin to set a pick for him but he just ran away from it, trying to beat Holiday on his...

Seattle made the finals twice with DJ and won once so he couldn't have been that toxic
Walton was MVP and also won a title  so two of his teammates got rings without Bird
Parish only played 4 years in GS

Dont know why they went to Haliburton for the last shot of reg. Should have gone to Nesmith who had it going on from the middie… didnt need a 3.
Nothing pisses me off more than a contested 3 when the game’s tied. You’re wide open, fine, but if you’re tightly guarded then get a higher percentage shot.
