I think it comes down to this. You don’t fight billionaires by trying to be one, and nobody’s right when everybody’s wrong.
You could eliminate “the rules”, get rid of the cap, have a complete free market, and it would still come down to players being lured away and selling out for more money.

:oldlol:
The clip showing it surely looked suspicious though. At least kawhi was able to avenge that loss in the 2019 finals but pachulia wasn't there anymore.

It is bad for the league.
Consistency is what makes the NBA great. No one likes randomness and frequant player movement. It cheapens the product.

Have you read this thread? It's diverged all over and we are at Cardi B now :oldlol:
My point was real though. Removing the lowest earners made the average pop. Sorry.

Can't wait for Ayton to become labeled some scrub when the Lakers are underperforming.
Decent signing, but I honestly don't think it moves the needle that much for LA.

An area where Europe destroys the US. People in the US think acting sexual is crazy. Which ironically causes more of it.
There couldn't be a "Girls Gone Wild" in Europe, because showing boobs isn't a "thing" there like it is in the US. And Cardi B shaking her butt isn't a thing to them either. Naked bodies aren't a thing, we are born with them....

Video is 7 years old, before Covid hit, Buffett says “unless we do something stupid”
Printing 8 Trillion dollars to fight COVID qualifies as something stupid.
Let’s see what other X-Factors get thrown our way that we can print money for the solution and run up our national credit card. Right now we are vulnerable.
Also… what kind of...

I truly don't believe that Zaza purposely put his foot underneath Kawhi's ankle.
People gave Zaza so much shit for that and not a peep was made when LMA did it to Klay in a game later that series.
It was because Kawhi was ballin on the Warriors and the injury changed the entire series and he missed the remainder of the series.

McHale would lead his teams to many 44-win seasons of he didn't have Bird, Parish and Dennis Johnson on his squad.
Switch Kevin McHale with Buck Williams on the Nets in the 80s and those are the wins he getting.

The system isn’t changing for the same reason players aren’t gonna start taking drastically less than fair market value. It’s ****ing stupid business. I don’t see how you blame one and not the other when they share the exact same motivation. You just choose to put less blame on the people who have more to spare for some reason.
The system isn’t...

At some point it has to be on the players. Just like workers at average jobs.
You can blame the system all you want. The system ain’t changing. The players literally can control where they sign. So it’s on them.
If generational wealth and billionaire status is your goal then I suggest not being a worker/employee and start a business or get...

When you say recognize, do you mean voted in as a player or as a contributor?
There are certain player like Wayne Embry voted in not as a player but as a contributor (even though he had a case to make it as a player.)
Should Derek Fisher be recognized over someone like Marques Johnson?

Not only that, but when Marcus Smart won DPOY, it was pretty obvious during the Finals that Robert Williams was Boston's best defender.

they have already established and apparently many fans agree that an issue is the so-called small markets losing players To free agency. Half the moves seem to be based on giving the home team and advantage to keep their players it just seems they’ve missed an incredibly obvious one. They let the team you’re on pay more. But doing that while...

there’s nothing self-righteous about it. I don’t complain about players or owners wanting money. But you damn sure don’t make any sense blaming players for taking fair market value from someone worth billions. You said
Putting every speck of the blame onto players then go back and say of course ownership should take the pay cut.
So...

With Luka & Reaves already having defensive limitations it makes sense as to why they are trying to get rid of Dalton. You lose some size getting rid of Rui, but it explains the push they are making for Horford.
Maybe LA is waiting to see if they can grab Horford before they make the deal.

Denver has had the best off-season realistically possible. All three guys they lost are addition-by -subtraction scenarios at this point in their careers. Cam Johnson replicates some of what MPJ does as a floor spacer, with better D and athleticism. Bruce Brown is proven to be able to play with Jokic. Big V is their first competent backup 5 in a...

What? Either the Heat are crazy for thinking that will happen, or the Lakers need to open up cap space for a blockbuster signing. That's a completely lopsided deal in favor of the Heat.
