He did go down fighting. Sasha was too good, and too tough a 1st round opponent.
Will miss him when he's completely gone, but he should be back for the Olympics.

Or maybe he realized trying to convince NPCs (like yourself) of how things work isn't worth it because he gets clowned for it anyway.
And yea... he's playing on a great team. So they're winning lol

Hilarious to see you tell Kyrie he doesnt need to apologize when you have 0 ****ing clue about what happened or he did.
How does one develop such ignorance?

You could probably swap Kyrie for SGA and see about similar results. As long as he isn't distracted.
He is basically a first option in the 4th when he wants to be and you have now for the second time, the biggest name in basketball deferring to you. First Lebron and now Luka, just letting you run the show, that's mighty impressive.

Losing Lively really hurts their chances against Boston. He’s been the x-factor for sure.
I don’t think they get by OKC without him.

In the playoffs, Kyrie is leading the team with a monstrous +26.0 on/off net rating and a second-best +9.3 on-court rating. Luka, in comparison, has a +7.8 on/off and a +6.0 on-court. Derrick Lively leads the team in on-court rating: +17.7.

Small sample size, Minnesota being gassed after an all-out war with Denver, and also Minnesota having no good matchup for Luka. He's too big and strong for any of their perimeter defenders.

Just seemed like he mellowed out more and have come to enjoy being more part of a team than thinking he has to play for himself all the time.

Dort was on Luka in that series and is strong as an ox and weighs a ton. Just wore Luka down. They also had Jalen Williams who was tall and strong.
More important, the refs let them get away with a lot more grabbing and leaning.

Both Luka and Lebron will have won a ring with Kyrie as their closer, but the difference is that the next guy up for Luka is either a rookie or a 35% shooting tweener from Charlotte where as Lebron had a 26-13, All NBA second team power forward as his third choice.
That would be like if Luka had someone like Sabonis as his third option.

I’m not downplaying that stretch. Merely stating a fact that they were up when it happened and there wasn’t a bringing the Cavs back from the dead aspect to it.

GS did cut the lead to 6 pts during that Kyrie run and he put them away. GS didn't score a single point for over 6 minutes after that Kyrie stretch lol and they subbed everyone out with over 2 minutes left in a 16-pt game which is kind of wild because they still technically had a chance to make it a game, but they gave up way before those subs.

Yeah, I'm sure it was all hearsay lol.. Cavs tried to deflect and blame it on their former GM after the fact but suuure, never happened, and LeGM sure as hell had no involvement in it! The Lebron part is complete hearsay. And based on that snippet it appears as though the trade talks were defensive based on vibes that Kyrie was putting out in general.
So again..you don’t know what happened and Kyrie does. If he felt the need to apologize I’m sure there was a reason for it.
