I'm telling you Wally450 and BurningHammer feel like the same person. It's like the general confusion about who has answered the question, and the same kind of mood. I hope they are two different people, and not the same person talking back and forth with alts in the wrestling forum, which would 100% mean that they are both Axe.
Also, Satan...

I remember this (very positive) post. It was the first time that I called Axe obese. But it was not a put down, just more mentioning a fact.

I legitimately had no recollection Haliburton was named in the OP when I looked this thread up to bump it by saying “Haliburton.”

"Once they get Ant a great running mate - his "pippen" - watch out"
So KAT, Gobert, McDaniels and the most length in the league isn't enough?.. Ant needs this mythical "pippen" to save him?... A 23-year old rookie that averaged 8 ppg?... wtf is Colin talking about?

I don't think it was a given for Larry. The East has a few good teams back then. The sixers were really good early in his career. The Bucks had some pretty good teams and later in the 80s the pistons took over.
The west was pretty weak though. The spurs were decent but not really a big threat. They had a much easier road that the Cs. If the...

2010 would be the year that Boston beat him in five games in the first round....because Wade without Shaq or Lebron couldn't win anything.

Cute-ish and with a personality white people appreciate.

Actually, it was Wade that led the Heat in scoring and assists when Lebron finally got past the Celtics in the 2011 Playoffs.
That's like Bird coming along and leading the Bulls when MJ finally got past the Pistons.

There's an increasing amount of stalemating where 1 losing ball-dominator faces another one, aka Luka vs SGA - so someone has to win - the "modern" player is infact a losing, "down-hill" player that can't foster the chemistry that allows a great-performing cast, aka great team.. the best teams are still led by the Curry's and the Jokic's of the...

... There's more than enough baddies in the WNBA..
The problem is that I have yet to see a woman with an elite, sick "bag"... There's no kyrie's or hakeem's.
The best players can mimic a few moves but they lack some of the best footwork, carrying and traveling that make the NBA a better viewing for most fans.

Making the top 4 was a given for Wilt and Russell lol. All they had to do was show up and they could get to the conference finals. Winning it was an accomplishment, getting there wasn't.
Rivalries are just a casualty of the times. Stars have more mobility now and team payroll is limited by the cap.

The WNBA has a very challenging mission trying to sell this to the public.
No matter what the quality of basketball is.
Somewhere deep down the league knows commercial success in womens athletics rests on good looking players. Clark obviously isnt a 10/10 stunner, but for a "face of the brand" she's a step in that direction.
The...

Are we the players? So you admit that the series are legendary yet you don't want to attribute value to them? Do you not know about Wilt vs Bill...when do you think they faced off LOL. Making it to the top four is a big deal...it's become less of a big deal thanks partly to Lebron having rivalries in the finals and other guys leaving teams.

Those chicks are like 6'5 and dont shoot threes. That may make them stars within the world of women's basketball, but it doesnt create a buzz outside of it.
Clark is seen as a somewhat feminine, decent looking female who's hooping. That's why people watch. The WNBA and the politically correct crowd can deny it all they want, but a huge PART of...
