Hassan Whiteside has two seasons with a better PER than Bosh ever put up and another tying his best. Was he great?
And maybe Bosh would have got easier first round opponents if he led his team to as many wins as Siakam did :confusedshrug:

Siakam did that once in the bubble beating the Nets with Caris Levert and Joe Harris as their leading scorers. And actually Fred Van Vleet was the leading scorer in that series.
Isn't saying much...
Siakam is actually nice but Bosh was a bit more talented. He had like the 3rd best PER in the entire NBA in 2010. Nobody not great has ever...

i agree. this would be an actual competitive series if Luka could defend like LeBron.
was watching the 3-1 comeback and realized how much we've taken LeBron for granted, dude single-handedly did everything important in that series to make a comeback. his athleticism allowed him to do everything and be everywhere he needed to be to make the...

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors farther than Bosh ever did is he a franchise player?

Chris Bosh absolutely was a franchise player... he was by a huge margin the best player on the Raptors in the mid 2000s. Multiple time All Star, All NBA, Olympic team... everything.

Offensively they play...slightly similarly. But Lebron put physical pressure on teams on both ends that Luka can't really do.
Luka has greater pure shot-making ability that Lebron but when that isn't fully on he's much easier to deal with overall. Lebron's strength and speed was consistent and could wear teams down regardless of what the...

Because they had just retired, how without playing another game did they end up where they currently are lol?
See this is the problem, I don't think the argument was ever that longevity matters more than peak, just that its a significant section of the goat debate. We've all eventually adopted the more rings is better narrative, why...

I don't think any of the board dems besides Lakers Legend think Biden is the best choice. You'd be surprised how many Democratic voters would prefer another candidate. That's what happens when someone gets a primary rigged for them.

They might have been swept with Luka ngl. LeBron's defense is arguably the biggest reason they won that series.

He was also a much better leader at that stage of his career than Luka is now, he wasn't constantly pouting, complaining to the refs, failing to get back on defense.
And the difference between the two of them defensively is astronomical. LeBron was legitimately great defensively in that series, while Luka is having the worst defensive...

Luka’s a liability on both ends of the floor because he plays too slow and can’t defend.
Prime Lebron in place of Luka would be a such different story. Lebron would tear these boys up on both ends.

Hes really not though... Luka throws the same amount if not more dimes and kyrie was never a transition player. He did almost all his damage in the half court completely 1v1. Kyrie and Lebron rarely ever assisted each other. Certainly not more than Luka and Kyrie do. The only difference is Irving has been ice cold shooting in this series.
It's...

When a series ends in a sweep it's either because the matchup is lop-sided or the teams are relatively even, but one team had several things go their way in the closing minutes of a couple of the games.
Similar, if a team is down 0-3 they're either being outclassed or unlucky. If they're outclassed, they aren't winning 4 in a row. If they're...

nah, LeBron is a superior playmaker and his dominant defense also created a lot of fastbreak opportunities. His unique athleticism also allowed Kyrie and company to use him a lob threat.

Kyrie and Lebron literally play exactly like Kyrie and Luka. Your turn my turn 1v1 basketball. The only difference is Kyrie made his buckets vs Golden State and hasn't vs Boston.

When 3 (Lebron, Bosh, Ray) of the team's most important players (and I'll give you Wade as he was drafted by the Heat) are franchise players turned ring chasers, it brings the word "collusion" to a whole 'nother level. The only other team even approaching that (during 2000-10) is KG and Ray (and they had seen their better days in the past - not...
