In this hypothetical what if Lebron wills the depleted Cavs to the title in 2015 in 6 or 7 games but loses the 2016 finals in 7 games to the 73 and 9 Warriors the very next year. Pros for Lebron's legacy in this hypothetical he would have the greatest carry job by a single player in Nba history plus he would have also silenced all of his...

A valid point: it was a secret but is not any longer. Also valid: we don't know what may be corrupt about it... because he keeps his taxes secret, ther only major presidential candidate to do so in decades. His excuse for that is the completely invalid line that he is under audit. He is suspect in the extreme.

I finally got this pair of Jordan 34s, and played in them a couple times last week, and this is a great playing shoe. Much more structured feeling than I expected, felt plenty locked in. Almost no break in required. Great traction. And it feels super reactive to movement. The only thing I think the Kobe has on it is that it feels like it sits...

    I made a GOAT score to help me rank players and gauge how active players are approaching the GOAT list. GOAT score = 1*(MVPs) + 1*(All NBA 1st teams) + 1*(FMVPS) + 1*(Championships) + 0.5*(Regular seasons with WS > 0.25) + 0.5*(Regular seasons with BPM > 7) + 0.5*(Post seasons with WS > 0.25) + 0.5*(Post seasons with BPM > 7) I chose the...

Reggie Miller. Zero all nba 1st or 2nd. Zero all defense. Klay Thompson >>>> Reggie Miller. Is this the best Jordan went up against in the East. The toughest team Jordan said he played were the Pacers in the East. A team with not even Paul George level talent on it.

Can you explain what's secret about it and how it pertains to corruption? It sounds like a regular business account, used to pay taxes and conduct business in a foreign country.

Doesn't our actively sitting President have a secret bank account in China? And he's actually paid the communist regime of China more in taxes than he has the US? Why aren't you mouth-breathing conspiracy types talking about that?

baseball has always been bigger if you look at total revenue, it's just more of a regional sport than a national one so u don't hear it discussed on ESPN ad nauseum people seem to equate airtime on sports media shows with actual popularity of sport. that's a mistake. ESPN talks about NBA non-stop not because of how popular NBA is, but because...

Should have worded it a little better, to come home and work toward retirement at some point, it's just with how things have been going here I was now thinking of speeding up that process and was looking at the PA opportunity in the process. If the dems win this election, it's my opinion that some mechanisms will be put in place, that'll make...

Mj was the better defender because he was way more consistent. He rarely took plays off. When lebron is engaged and locked in he's as good as mj imo. He's just not engaged defensively as much as he could be. I think stamina could be part of the reason why. He dosn't have mj's stamina to go all out on both ends all the time. Mj's stamina was insane.

MLB has been bigger for the longest lol. The only problem with MLB is the amount of games they play are not enough to capture daily tv ratings. Decrease the amount of games and the ratings will be better

Hasn't this always been the case? People are just bullish on the NBA being more lucrative since it has a younger (and therefore more susceptible to advertising) demographic. I think in flat out ratings/revenue MLB has typically been higher.

Posting since it hasn't been posted. Haven't finished watching yet personally. Admittedly there were a couple moments so far where I thought "old MJ at it again" (not to mention the suspect release date, again) but will reserve judgement for now and drop thoughts later. Enjoy

But how is it possible to discuss Wilt vs Russell vs Kareem for he umpteenth time (not directed at you specifically), but impossible to discuss Bob Lanier vs Walt Bellamy? or Yao vs Ben? Hell, Yao vs Ben actually happened 15 seasons ago a twice a year when Detroit played Houston.

MVP candidate ( let's say top 5 or 6 in voting) All-NBA first team/second team. That means you're recognized as one of the top 4 guards, top 4 forwards and top 2 centers. But, that definition needs some flexibility when a position may be loaded with talent at any given point. Case in point, in 94 you had Hakeem, Admiral and Shaq at...

I would argue that LeBron right now is a better defender than Jordan was at any point in his career. Think about all of the players Michael Jordan had to defend throughout his entire career - Joe Dumars, John Starks, Craig Ehlo, etc. 2020 LeBron James can defend all of them just as well as Jordan, if not better. But what makes LeBron...

It's funny how Miller is ranked #49 in 2020, but 25 years ago when the NBA at 50 was announced he was no where to be found. So he became one of the 50 greatest players after his career peaked. No one considered Reggie a top 50 player All-Time then. Reggie was never even a top 10 player in any of his career seasons. Reggie a top 50 player All-Time...
