A lot of those raw stats are going to be eventually recognized as inflated in the grand scheme of things considering his era

All a team is, is a unit composed of individual players.
I’ll give guys on the team benefit of the doubt in most situations but there becomes a point where you need to take off the homer goggles and start to be real.

It's crazy that a 35 years old coach is dominating the league. Winning 16-3 in the playoff.

1991-93 Scottie Pippen put up the same finals stats as Tatum and Brown

PG was a top 3 MVP vote in OKC the year before his injury too.
Tatum is better (by a solid amount), but in terms of career arc and role, I feel they are similar.

Pierce made 1 conference finals granted with a pretty weak roster(rest of East was weak too). I would hold back on calling him a franchise player. Once KG came in he was the guy. Allen had more success as lead guy than Pierce thought he had better rosters. One conference finals one 2nd rd exit in the west

Not sure about Ray Allen. Not too much success there on his own.
Pierce for sure, and even Melo, were more franchise level players. Tatum, I don't know, has a different approach.

Definitely not but I also have Curry in my top 10. He’s definitely in the higher end of the top 10 though just because a ton of the top 10 were non shooting centers (Wilt, Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq, Russell, Duncan who is basically a center)

I guess Indy George is a fair comparison. He was a top 10 lock those years just not in mvp convo. Tatum is similar

I'll admit I didn't watch too much Paul Pierce or Ray Allen, but I do remember that Paul Pierce was a very clear cut franchise player in a way that Tatum isn't. Win or lose, it was on Pierce. Tatum is more like PG, an elite role player.

I feel like a lot of people here must be relying on the statistics of regular season Tatum.
Have you ever really watched Tatum in the playoffs and thought “I’d call it a tossup between him and Pierce or Allen in terms of who Id want in a series?”
I dunno. To me I’m taking Pierce and Allen easily over Tatum.
But I tend to value playoff...

Paul Pierce was Kobe level in the early 2000s. There's a reason Shaq nicknamed him "The Truth". Shaqs known for hating but he had big respect for Paul. And Ray back in the day was just as good.
Tatum is nice like 7.5/10... but I'd give prime Pierce and Ray 8s.

but unlike Jordan who won with all-star help thereafter, Lebron didn't win with an all-star thereafter - he got the all-star spacing that his stiff-arm needed in 2009, but lost as a -700 favorite to an injured, 1-star tam..
The all-star help boosted the 2009 Cavs to league favorite and a Year 6 organic juggernaut (kind of like the 21' Bucks,...

He has scored the most postseason points of any player under the age of 27. That includes guys like Kobe and LeBron. At 26 he had been first team AllNBA 3 times. And that spot will continue to be his for the foreseeable future. He is going to pile up 25+ point 8+ rebound 4+ assist seasons. Had now made conference finals five times finals twice...

I know, I'm saying Indy George had a pretty big impact and was a legit up and coming star. 3 last seasons with Indy in the playoffs he scored 23, 27, 28 and shot +40% from 3 and great defense. He was legit for sure.
Tatum is better and more consistent, but I feel the comparison is fair. PG had that freak injury and never recovered his...

So he didn't need Phil - Phil simply got there at the same time that MJ got all-star help..
For example, Popovich is losing with Wemby and all Wemby needs is a top perimeter player star and it won't matter who is coach - Wemby will win a lot more..

Incorrect. High job openings signals a very strong market, but with low urge to work due to high income inequality.
You can't create job openings when jobs in the market are 'disappearing'. That literally doesn't make sense.
