The large majority of people at 32+ do not have the same disposition as when they were 22 years old.

The problem is you’re only looking at this from one perspective. I’ll raise you that someone with a full time job should be able to afford at least a shitty apartment, not live in a tent on the side of the road. I do agree food stamps is a shitty bandaid fix, what we really need to do is heavily price control inelastic goods and services: housing,...

The lakers needed the extra off season they got more than other teams. It was basically a new season based on the previous years record with some extra games thrown in. No travelling helped davis and lebron more than guys that are usually healthy

I'm not advocating to scrap food stamps all together... I'm just saying it should be a little bit harder to qualify for Food Stamps than it is now.
You get a $500 child tax credit to help with some of that burden if you have kids. You have 2 kids? There's an extra $1000 for the year.
I'm sorry but Food Stamps should not be for average...

What’s wrong with 2020? Everyone competed under the same conditions, no? So it was fair competition. If anything the Lakers got screwed out of hca.

I think this is the most ignorant take I've read on here in a long time, not surprising considering the source, but still. Can't afford to eat or feed your children, just fast bro :lol

Food Stamps should be for unemployed, homeless, living in the ghetto type folks.
Not middle class citizens.... and many middle class folks are receiving food stamps.
I just feel like you should go full "Cinderella Man" before accepting food stamps.
also food stamps creates a mindset of government dependence.

Min contracts aren’t supposed to get playing time in the playoffs in the first place. The fact that WB was a part of their 8 man rotation just shows how shorthanded they were.

Yeah. Plus Horry was the starting PF on the 95 Rockets as a stretch 4, so presumably while he was nimble enough to close out on the perimeter, that also takes him out of the paint leaving the Bulls even more vulnerable. The Rockets in general were a tough matchup for Chicago, though I don't subscribe to the idea that their regular season record...

Agree on all counts. When I mentioned Grant "making a difference", I was thinking more along the lines of helping versus the tall timber. Actually stopping Shaq and/or Hakeem is another story. Don't think they win in 95 either way.

It's just the facts bro, Curry being robbed of FMVP in 2015 is complete revisionist history. Look at what was being said at the time, and this isn't even factoring in Curry not receiving a single vote for FMVP.

Tattoos became popular across all races some time in the 90s. Before that it was usually more rare just look at MJ Magic Bird Kareem Hakeem Ewing Pippen Reggie... shit I'm struggling to find an old baller that was tatted up. Its a cool kid thing now. It used to be a gang army biker prison thing.

the alternative is offering with a peace deal. no, not the half-assed peace deals that israel has offered on their terms in the past but an actual two state solution. but like i just said, that's an impossibility at this point.
otherwise, it's endless war until one side is wiped off the map. then so be it but don't deny what israel's actual...

What bigs are left?
Yossi Gozlan: As Bobby pointed out, the Nuggets could combine the Cameron Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas trades to avoid a first apron hard cap. This would allow them to go above it and use the $5.7 million tax mid-level exception on another big man, should Valanciunas seek a buyout. – via x.com

It actually makes the point that Duncan typically paced the team in scoring while also anchoring the defense, and Manu/Parker's scoring were ancillary by-products of that. They simply didn't have the same across the board responsibility and overall impact, and as said earlier your criticism can be levied against any GOAT level player in some form...
