After a weekend that was entirely way too long, and I'm still halfway in a liquor/drug induced coma/stupor, but this is the video I was talkin bout Thursday night. Again, I had problems uploading it on the Daisy Of Love website, and didn't get around to trying it again till right now, cuz I had white girls to slay. So it's a lil outdated, but here's some of the love shown back. And once again, I apologize for being too drunk/high to get more shoutouts out there, I'll make a better one when I get outta this coma. :oldlol:

Well, as far as I can tell, I have to meet the criteria to pass into the second round already. Granted, we can't let up and become complacent, so the more votes the better, but I think we are on the right track.

But all the same, keep voting every day, keep posting links throughout this board and others, put it on your myspace/facebook/whatever, and I'll make more videos and blog posts and hopefully attract more and more attention to our cause. Guevara 08 - Yes We Can!

Look at the requirments you posted. You meet some, but you didn't mention anything about Daisy, unless you said it in the last 1/10 of one of your videos when my computer muted it :roll:

He'd have to stay in that character the entire time though, and probably alienate a bunch of voters and what not with that attitude, but it'd be hilarious. But apparently he's never even posted an actual picture of himself, and I imagine videos while staying in character could be kinda difficult.

I think I need to figure out how to attract more attention to myself. Maybe I should take some pictures in my Rico Suave Halloween costume. :oldlol:

P.S. - New video is uploaded, waiting on approval. I still can't figure out why my videos get choppy and skip at the end, but **** it.

:confusedshrug: I figured the votes would reset for each round also. Wouldn't that make more sense?

Also, I thought I read on that website that you had to be 21+ to be eligible for the show, yet there's quite a few people under 21 still in the running apparently.

I assume that this whole idea wasn't thought through very well, and nobody over at VH1 knows what the hell they're doin. :oldlol:

So I added a new video last night, drunk as hell (but no throwin up, halfway home and my pager still blowin up) listening to Men Without Hats - Safety Dance at this girls house as my celebratory video on makin it to round two, and it's still not on my page. I wish my initial reaction to the Safey Dance being on her Ipod was filmed though too, I was geeked up. The video is ridiculous in itself though, and there's absolutely no reason that anyone ever needs to see it, but I have no shame. It's even worse cuz it was after takin a couple vicodin (the cold rain does not do wonders for my knee) and too much to drink. :oldlol:

Well, apparently for round 2, only 10 people remain after. The top 5 vote getters (which is relatively impossible considering there's 10 days left in round 2 and I'm 30000+ votes behind them) and 5 wild card choices by the producers. I can probably make it as a wild card if we pick our efforts back up and get a lot of votes again, while bringing attention to myself, and meeting the criteria. Of course that all depends on the producers understanding my sense of humor and thinking that I'd make a good addition. Stranger things have happened. I just put a new blog up to meet part of the second round criteria, and I'm bout to do a new video.

i'm seriously doubting that he's gonna be selected by the producers so the only hope left is for jay to be a top 5 vote getter. So pretty much there's almost no hope unless we vote at an alarming rate for the next 4+ days... because right now he's in 27th and 5th place has 36k votes.

it's stupid that the votes didn't reset after each round... that means that even if there is an applicant that everyone likes and thinks they want to see on the show, he'd be climbing a hill to catch those who registered earlier. And it's a crapshoot as to which 5 wildcards the producers will select. As jay said earlier, it doesn't seem so well planned out by the producers. :hammerhead: oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Actually, I was having a conversation with a girl I know, and she was lookin at other applicants pages, and she's tellin me to check out certain pages. And upon investigation, she and I concluded that I actually do have a real shot at being a wild card, as ridiculous as it seems. Because there are an alarming number of cats on there who are taking it wayyyyy too seriously and trying too hard. And quite a few of em seemingly lack any kinda personality. So if the "producers" actually do go through each and every profile to pick the wild cards, when they come across mine, they should realize that they really don't need any random nerd off the internet that got everyone he plays World Of Warcraft with to vote for him a million times, they need some semblance of personality and flamboyance.

And that's where my strengths lie, attracting attention to myself, by looking like a complete and utter jackass. :oldlol:

Indeed those are the qualities that reality tv producers long for, and I give you credit for hanging in there, but I've gotta admit, i've given up.

edit: I don't know if this will be any consolation to you, but you can always just go out and splurge on booze (although it won't be free) and buy a blowup doll because Daisy's body and the blowup doll contain the same amount of real parts.

As of right now our cause is on life support, and not breathing on it's own, but there's still a slight chance of recovery and making it to the final stage. It's highly unlikely that it'll survive the next couple days, but the doctor hasn't told us that yet, so we're not quite ready to pull the plug.

Got less than two days left in round two, and the odds of making it to round three aren't very promising, but they do exist. For instance, four of the top 10 cats don't even meet the criteria to pass go and collect 200 bucks, and I'm sure there's some more out there also. Not enough to make it where I end up in the top 5 and guaranteed a spot in round three obviously, but still. And there's five wild card spots up for grabs.

But, in reality, chances are we're probably done for. In case we are almost at the end of road, none of it woulda been possible if it wasn't for you guys. And if you assholes weren't so lazy we definitely coulda been in the top 5. :oldlol:

Well, the dream is dead ladies and gentlemen. First they got MLK, now they're silencing Jay Guevara. For some unknown reason (probably because as I previously mentioned, the "producers" are apparently amateurs and not only planned this entire thing very poorly, but abandoned their own ****ty rules midway through) there was round three. After round two concluded, there was supposedly gonna be 10 contestants left, the top 5 ranked individuals, and 5 "wild cards", but for some reason there is only one cat left and round three doesn't exist. So we were very possibly robbed of a chance to make history, to bring change to the forefront, to fight the good fight on national TV, for liberation, because VH1 is a bush league network that only tries to rehash washed up celebrities from the 80's in reality shows, and then packages their contestants in their own similarly ****ty shows. But that comes as a surprise to no one. :oldlol:

Anyways, strangely enough, the lone wolf left on the website is the terribly awkward Marilyn Manson swagger jacker. :confusedshrug:

my girlfriend and i watch the show, i cringe almost the entire time, it's horrifying. There's no way i could spend even a few days trapped with those guys before i lost my mind. Douche bag central. I don't drink a lot but i would be drunk the whole time, it's the only way i could tolerate it. Let's get better organized next time we try to get somebody on a show. Pick the person early and not argue about who and then go forward with promoting them. I vote Marlo. We have to come up with a funny persona for him to play.

i'm thinking that marlo could be a 20 something that was born into a sh*tload of cash/foreign royalty and is confused about his sexuality. the pitch can be that the show's floozy is what's needed to straighten him out (so to speak).
