View Full Version : ISH Beer Draught - Actual Draught Thread

My favorite part thus far about the draft is the potential for seeing some of these beers that I would otherwise not purchase, at the liquor store and trying them out now that I know they're enjoyable.
Definitely, I went to BevMo the other day and bought a couple beers that I learned about just from this draft.
However right now I'm currently sitting with a Spanish Peaks Black Dog Ale. Nothing special but its hitting the spot right.

Didnt I tell you to stop being so technical? "hey guys, gather 'round, town hall meeting! there's an important matter we must discuss!" ... "do we let LOJ fill the void of PoT?" ... *silence* ... a few oh's and ah's ... "I SAY YES!" "NO, I SAY NO!" ... "HE HAS TO BE IN, IT'S LOJ FOR CHRIST'S SAKE!" "I SAY NO, IF HE IS BANNED HE IS NOT ALLOWED, OUR FOREFATHERS WOULD BE ROLLING IN THEIR GRAVES IF THEY KNEW THIS WAS GOING ON!"
Nothing changes. I'm, in the draft. STFU, you're very annoying in a non-purposeful manner (which is what seperates me from you).
First off, I don't answer to you so you can stop "telling me" to do things.
Second, chill the f*ck out dude, this thread is for Beer, and only Beer, so if you still have an issue with me please take it up elsewhere.
Hateraid its your turn (7:20 PM EST)

I'm gonna stick with my last statement that Canadians brew better beer and go with this:

I would've gone with a number of other brews for Canada's first, but RW is quite nice for a light beer on a hot summer day. The citrus is always a nice touch too.
Is it true that Rickards White is the same as Blue Moon, or is that just a rumour? I've heard it from multiple sources, but I've never tried Blue Moon, so I can't actually be sure.

I'm dissapointed only one asian beer has been taken. Tsingtao's a good pick though. Well at least because my family's from around there.

They are brewed at the same place and are both belgium white ale. I think Rickard's white is unfiltered.

So technically MarloStanfield was up from (10:35 PM EST) to (10:35 AM EST), which would make it my pick.
However, I wasn't around to bump it or make it clear that it was his pick, so I'm not going to pick until after work. If Marlo can get his pick in before I pick later this evening, then its kosher.

I like some of the various Sapporo beers; difficult to find though. Asahi is common here, but I'm not much of a fan. IMO, dry beer is a definite acquired taste.
[Side Note] - why do people in Asia enjoy Colt 45? Tokyo, Hong Kong and everywhere in the Philippines you'd see Colt 45. 'da ****?
San Miguel is a very good cheap beer from Asia (Philippines).

Pours clear amber with a thin white head that stays, leaving lacing.
The smell is of caramel, some grassy/herbal notes.
The taste is of mild caramel with an herbal, slightly grassy dryness.
It is light to medium bodied with carbonation rather on the fizzy side.
A mild, well-balanced amber.
