They are frighteningly prepard. When china had the earthquake they had to import all the machines to dig. This time, china sent their people to help and Japan already had equipment for them to use.

Allergies. They have a different kind of tree that really kills you with the allergies. My wife has days in Japan where she is in a semi-coma from the allergies, here she does not. It's supposed to keep the pollen out.

It was erupting 2-3 weeks ago and stopped, after the earthquake it started erupting again. I don't think the eruption effected anyone harmfully at all.
