14 points 14 boards tonight:bowdown:
Dude is such a beast. I would not be surprised if he puts in work in the offseason and becomes the next Draymond Green.
LAL's future is bright

He is one of the few good news for the Lakers this year. I can see him being a solid contributor in the next years.

Did Bobby Porits and Devin Booker die? Larry Nance is just a shitty basketball player.

Larry Nance is a three time NBA all star and winner of the first slam dunk contest.
His son, Larry Nance Jr. is a rookie who just had two 14 rebound games since becoming a starter in the NBA.

Who gives two shits what his dad did? He had a good night against a shitty team, he's far from the "steal of the draft"

Because you said Larry Nance sucks while we in here talkin bout Larry Nance Jr.
You brought it up, fooo.

Larry Nance Jr is a straight version of Aaron Gordon.

Larry Nance Jr isn't better than a Melvin Ely ever was. Maybe Jamal Sampson

It looks like another year wherein one gem in the rough will land higher in the RoY races than a co-draftee that was picked higher

He inherited his dad's athleticism and NBA brains. He also plays great D.

Nance just turned 23 as a result of being a 4 year player in college, so he's more polished and has more bball experience than most rookies these days. He is actually 3 years older than Russell and almost 2 years older than Randle. But you could see the 4 year college exeperience because he plays under better control and within himself instead of going off his game like Randle tends to do.

Lakers hold onto Randle, Nance Jr and Russell. I don't see
Clarkson in their future. I am not that high on that kids style of play

I'm fine with EITHER Russell or Clarkson, not both.

disagree Clarkson got balls on him, something the other rooks are missing.

He can become a nice player. He's got good genes from his Dad. He'll probably be a laker longer than those other guys they picked in the first round.

I'll pick Russell. I can see more of him because of his shooting, passing and Vision. Clarkson is more explosive offensively but I think Russell can run the offense more organize and be more consistent with experience. I was hoping they can play together but they just don't compliment each other game. Both of them need the ball to maximize their potential.
As far as Nance Jr. I was so clueless that Ryan Kelly was getting all those minutes early in the season and he was on a street clothes. I think Nance Jr is not an All Star material but he could be a solid contributor especially if he can get consistent with his jumpshots.

JC the only dude driving to the paint. Everyone else on the squad content shooting jumpers.
Russell steady running the same bull shit play. Come off a high pick into a mid range jumper. With 18 seconds on the shot clock. With everyone else on the team barely in position to fight for a board.

He is and will always be a utility player. He doesn't have the talent or skills to make any noise in the NBA.

Uhhh except he HAS made noise. His dunks have gotten everyones attention. A regular NBA fan already knows who Larry Nance Jr. is because of his preseason dunk alone. He could turn out to be a very valuable roleplayer in the future. Great athleticism, doesn't play out of his game, rebounds great, very decent defender, great pick and roll player. He's got all the tools to be a key roleplayer.
