Lebron because he's infallible
Lebron lost in 2009 because he can't command double-teams due to weak jumper that rarely gets hot to require getting the ball out of his hands; and his lack of off-ball game allows opponents to defend his long-dribble style, which is preferred over double-teaming and spurring ball-movement (Stan Van Gundy (http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=466601) and Kerr (https://i.makeagif.com/media/3-22-2019/6e5aBZ.gif) let him dribble away - they wanted the ball in his hands).. so his weak jumper and long-dribble style prevents double-teaming and allows teammates to be guarded straight-up and locked down, like the 2009 ECF where he lost as the favorite, or the 2015 Finals where a better team effort would've beaten Curry/Klay (who are otherwise losers in the Finals, 8-10 without KD).

And when you think about it, the 1-ball-dominator style and 4 shooter approach is the easiest form of the game - an opposing coach would WANT a Lebron-team to keep playing that way, rather than switch it up.. That's largely why Lebron gets destroyed for 3 straight games to lose every Finals - teams figure out the basic style, and blow it's doors off, along with the franchise
.

Although every1 likes to dog on Ehlo, it was Harp who was kind of tasked with MJ as his starting defensive assignment. Ron had a 7 foot armspan, pretty effective for traps and clogging those passing lanes.

He literally carried a 1-9 career loser to 6 Finals

Lebron's "carrying" ability has always been overrated - he needed the highest time of possession/weakest ball movement ever to get good stats in 2015-2018 Finals - his teams are routinely massively out-assisted in the championship

he infact can't carry lottery casts to playoffs - he missed playoffs 3 times with teams that were lottery the prior year (04', 05', 19') - aka couldn't drag lottery casts to low seeds/underdog matchups in 1st Round, and only made playoffs with high seeds, good teams, and easy 1st round matchups, thus inflating early playoff resume compared to other stars who were good enough to carry lottery casts to low seeds

His inability to succeed with weak teams or develop bad teams into championships shouldn't be a surprise, since his ball-dominant style turns teammates into spot-up shooters, which doesn't develop players/teams and requires ready-made stars acquired via collusion/cheating.. he simply avoided the career-losing fate of other ball-dominators by colluding for the extra talent this style needs to win

Ultimately, Lebron's style is suboptimal - he starts at SF but then shares PG duties with the PG - this creates a 2 point guard lineup that gives teammates less hold-time and assists than they get in 1-PG lineups, thus causing low TEAM assists and a brand that struggles on the championship level, aka 3/9... this suboptimal style results from a SKILL DEFICIT where he can't get elite stats off-ball.

People are just ignoring the facts:

Jordan 89' 1st Rd... 39.8.. 5.8.. 8.2.. 3.2.. 0.4.. 51.8 fg.. 59.8 ts.. 121 ortg.. 30.9 gmsc
Lebron 09' ECF......f 38.5.. 8.3.. 8.0.. 1.2.. 1.2.. 48.7 fg.. 59.1 ts.. 118 ortg.. 29.3 gmsc

MJ better across the board and attracted constant double-teams to free up teammates - Pippen might've been aids, but MJ elevated other guys in that series

I said MJ played better than 09' Lebron, which is true:

And I said 89' Mo was easily better than baby Pippen, again true:

2009 Orlando Magic were a very good defensive team. Sucks that they live and die at the 3 points line.

Considering that the '89 Bulls won only 47 games and weren't expected to make the ECF, it's clearly MJ. Jordan beat the 57-win Cavs in the first round with a game-winner in elimination and averaged 40/6/8/3 for the series, beat a 52-win Knicks team in 6 while averaging 36/10/8/3 and took a 63-win Pistons team who swept the Lakers to 6 games while averaging 30/6/7/2 and with his 2nd option averaging 12 ppg in that series...

I understand that people want to troll here but it's not even close, Jordan didn't have a good defense or shooting to fall back on and he didn't lose as a favorite. Lebron beat ZERO 50+ win teams and only one 40+ win team in that 2009 run and lost as the #1 seed.

LeBron had a good team that year. Role players catered to their roles. Not stars but functional. See Miami's squad this year for a similar squad. Then add LeBron.

LeBron nutjobs always shit on his teammates which is their way to prop up their king.

What happened last year in LA? Right, he didnt have the right guys.

Sick of this garbage.

Stay in school.

Chicago didn't have the luxury of free agency yet. Morons. Youre all stupid kids. Retarded. :lol
