Hold up. Trump has the 2nd lowest misery index of any president in the last 60 years while Biden is screaming to the top? Oh boy, the demtards aren't going to like this.

the couple of decades following the war was certainly the best time to be an american. not only in regard to this misery index, but things were just better back then. life was simpler. people's worlds were smaller and more intimate. less stress, more overall happiness.

The entire formula is just adding the unemployment rate and inflation rate together.
Currently it is at a 11.7
Inflation 8.2 + Unemployment 3.5

I think the formula was understood.

Yes, and this objective index was created before the Trump and Biden nonsense.

This simple index was the highest after covid in 2020. Under Trump. Because the unemployment rate shot up to 20%.
This index treats unemployment and inflation as equal but they aren't. Employment is much more meaningful. Being employed during high inflation is much better than being unemployed during low inflation.
