hayward got a nice stroke, 6 fast points
You can always tell who's under contract and who's not in Summer league.
Most of these drafted rookies and signed players play within the flow of the game and don't force much, while the guys fighting for a roster spot are looking to get theirs and often look out of control.

I was encouraged at how well he was attacking the boards.
Collins looks pretty solid with the J and seems to have decent playmaking skills.
I think Sherron Collins is going to prove it was a bad idea not to draft him. He may be a little out of shape but he's pretty good.
Gerald Henderson taking it back to his Duke days. If he plays like this, he'll get minutes for sure.
Tyrese Rice making a case for himself.
Ty Rice putting in work :pimp:
Sixteen minutes from the McBob show.
In all seriousness I really don't expect him to get a lot of minutes. I'm really anticipating see Lance Stephenson trying his 0 guard Gilbert Arenas type point guard spot they've been trying him at since the draft. Him and Magnum Rolle, the coaching staff's been saying he's a lot more than just the lanky athletic guy they expected. And of course my first time ever seeing Paul George in a game situation.
Erden will play for Boston today. 2008 draft, finally get to see him play.

I saw two of Paul George's games at Fresno State and the dude is fun to watch. You'll be in for a show (hopefully). Saw plenty of Stephenson in the Big East and I like his handles and mid range game, but I really don't see him as point guard. At all. Not even in the Tyreke Evans mold.
Somebody got a link for online?

I don't either, also at all. I guess his handles could be adequate for it, and in Jim O'Brien's offense about the only traditional PG trait he uses is the 1 bringing the ball up the floor, after that it's predominately off ball. Still, I worry about him guarding 2s, let alone NBA 1s.
I'm hoping it's just a quick experiment since the roster's so PG depleted, they'll quickly realize it ain't happening and hey, it was worth a look. If they try and fit a round peg into a square hole we got problems though.
Speaking of PGs, I'll get to see Huertel too. I think he's got a decent shot to make the roster, Bird apparently likes him a lot.

Any idea why Hansbrough, Brandon Rush, and AJ Price aren't playing?
Wow. 15 bucks to watch it online is that worth it? :oldlol:
Any idea why Hansbrough, Brandon Rush, and AJ Price aren't playing?
Hansbrough's still dealing with the inner ear problem, supposed to be ready for training camp. I'll believe it when I see it, I'm worried about his future.
AJ Price broke his knee in a charity game about a month ago and had surgery a few days later. May miss the first month or so of the season.
No health problems with Rush I don't think, just not a lot of reason for him to be there. They've got the wings they drafted and a couple points they want to give lots of minutes to see what they've got I assume. We already know what he is.
It's probably just me, but every time Hayward gets called "Haywood" I cringe a bit. Little things like that bother me, I mean the guy's name's right there on his shirt.

He buzzed it. I got outbid for a lock of it on eBay.
He's no longer McBob to me anymore

Ah thanks for that. Back to what you said about Lance, people have been saying they see him a Tyreke Evans type point guard, but I don't even see that. Tyreke is much more of a playmaker than Lance. Yeah, Hansbrough hasn't had any luck since being drafted, it's a shame, because I actually think he could be a very good starter.
I was very impressed by Hayward. He let the game come to him and stuffed the stat sheet. 8 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a block.
Gerald Henderson for the win. Nice performance no?
I knew Jerome Randle was small, but man.
Magnum Rolle's already shown me more on the offensive end than I ever thought he had.
Orton's the classic bull in a China shop
Good stuff from the Pacers draft picks. You've gotta be liking this Lebowski.
stephenson balling
Ewing Junior looks like a mess out there. One bucket he did it traveled pretty hard right before .
So far so great, but Orlando's playing worse than a church league team. Run a damn set so I can see some PnR defense or something. And y'know, summer league.
Pacers are looking good. Daniel Orton is playing exactly how I expected.
There is no way I would pay for these game though.
Damn, Stephenson's no PG but he's definitely an NBA scorer
Lance balling out there.
Is Stephenson like 6'9 or something or is his defender about 3'6
Is Stephenson like 6'9 or something or is his defender about 3'6
Jerome Randle's listed at 5'10...he's probably a generous 5'8
Is Stephenson like 6'9 or something or is his defender about 3'6
Pretty sure he's like 6'5.
Pretty sure he's like 6'5.
Fair enough haha but if he's being guarded by a 5'10 guy he may as well be 6'9
orton 0/2 3 fls 3 to's hahahaha, just tuned in...
sticky thread?
This Huertel kid looks terrible
I cant wait for the OKC game
over/under:
5 blocks for ibaka
20 points for harden
10 assist from maynor
