Dionte Christmas

He's a senior so he'll have to declare for the draft? What's his draft stock? late 1st-2nd? He's 6'5 205 pounds and a good scorer, so I was curious.

He'll most likely be an early second round pick but if he impresses during workouts he could possibly be a late first rounder. He put on a show today.

He's the best Temple prospect in a long time. Who's the last Temple recruit to play in the NBA? I can't think of anyone outside of Aaron McKey, Eddie Jones, and Pepe Sanchez.

He'll definitely be in the league next year. I'm thinking late first round or early second. Could be a steal for some team.

Lynn Greer played a year with the Bucks. And remember Marc Jackson?

Dionte's listed 6'5" but he's really around 6'3". And he lacks the handles to be a point guard. Has below average athleticism. He'll probably be a mid 2nd round pick but I can't see him having a career in the NBA. He'll have a great career in Europe though. Fits their style perfectly.

Mark Jackson. How could I forget? :oldlol:

One good season with Golden State. Was a decent PF/C center back when he got minutes, but was never really consistent with any other teams he played for.

I'm kind of surprised Lynn Greer never caught on in the NBA.

Yeah Lynn was a crazy scorer in college, averaged 23 ppg his senior year. Just undersized for the NBA 2 guard position. He's not a pg and even he says he's a score-first guard. Had a year with Milwaukee then got a deal from Olympiacos in Greece that he couldn't pass up. Hasn't been back since. Still balls with Rasual Butler, Flip Murray, Malik Rose and the other Philly guys in the summer in the city.

And yeah DJ Strawberry isn't a bad comparison. Dionte's a way better scorer/shooter and DJ is 10x the athlete Dionte is. But in terms of NBA success they're the same.
