Blazers & Bobcats Interested In Stephon Curry
Quote:
Does anyone trust Jordan's talent evaluating skills? Because I dont think the Bobcats need Curry at all unless they plan on letting Felton walk, and think Curry can come in off the bench and handle minutes at PG. |
Re: Blazers & Bobcats Interested In Stephon Curry
First, as it happened with Eric Gordon, it's becoming a fashion to mispell Stephen Curry. Please.
Blazers would make sense I guess, if making the correct trades. But Bobcats? They have Augustin and Felton, and even if they use either of them in a trade, it's weird. Of course you can claim Curry is a combo guard, but you don't want to see Augustin/Felton paired with Curry.WTF? |
Re: Blazers & Bobcats Interested In Stephon Curry
It makes little to no sense for the Blazers. They trade Jarrett Jack... a real legit NBA talent for a project in Jerryd Bayless @ the #11 pick from Indiana, now they want to take on another project in Stephen Curry?
Unless they feel Bayless is ready to take on the starting role by the end of 2009 when Blake expires, and have Curry as the backup... it just doesn't make any sense. They need an experienced veteran at the point guard. And in the case of the Bobcats... I thought they had enough guys stuck between the 2 & 1, with both Felton & Augustin being combo guards. Why add another tweener? The Bobcats need more frontcourt depth, not another combo guard. |
Re: Blazers & Bobcats Interested In Stephon Curry
Larry brown has stated he is going to choose talent over need, which explains choosing curry over whoever, but I really don't think we're going to trade up in this draft. If he falls to #12, which is very doubtful, we'll probably take him. Otherwise, look for the bobcats to take henderson or tyreke evans imo.
