Maybe they're still in shock. No wait. They all went to the Laundry-mat to wash the crap outta their shorts. That's gotta be it.

I'm interested in seeing how Bernie will work with Jordan. Sooner or later, Bernie will leave the bench and go to the front office to be the full time GM. How would that work with Jordan making ownership decisions?

Jordan's track record isn't that good. He's no Jerry West. I hope he's not an incarnation of Isiah Thomas.

Bernie should probably be a GM, or a coach, but not both.

I know the rumor was he is stepping down as coach in a year, but maybe with Jordan around he'd rather keep coaching and not be the GM anymore

you probably didnt get any responses because the same news was in the main forum and everyone posted there

this is good for the cats, jordan can do a lot of things

It obviously bumps their visibility up a lot

It won't necessarily help in too many other ways

I agree. Bernie will probably stay on as head coach now and make "suggestions" to Michael on personnel matters.

I never liked the idea of a coach being the GM. A coach can have lots of say in personnel matters, but a franchise must have a GM or a President making personnel changes happen.

I don't know if I like the idea of Bernie staying on as head coach. He has the respect of the team and has done a pretty good job teaching the young guys who are not hurt.

Might as well keep Bernie around as coach until the team is ready to take the next step. For starters, everyone being healthy and playing. I can't judge how good he is with them since okafor and sean may barely played
