Gerhart's team wasn't good enough. Not enough wins. The voters will give it to McCoy, but Ingram deserves it the most.

If it went to the best players for this season, it SHOULD be:

1. Suh
2. Gerhart
3. Ingram
McCoy and Tebow are only listed b/c of their names/schools

BUT, if I were putting money on what I think it'll look like, I'd go like this:

1. Ingram
2. McCoy
3. Suh
4. Tebow
5. Gerhart


I'm a HUGE Suh fan, and I also like Gerhart. I really hope one of those 2 guys wins it. I'm pullin for Suh mostly. We drafted the original Warren Sapp, now we can get Warren Sapp 2.0

Suh, McCoy, Tebow, Gerhart, and Ingram are the finalists. I think it'll be....

1. McCoy
2. Ingram
3. Suh
4. Tebow
5. Gerhart

I think that is how it plays out, but Ingram and Suh are the most deserving in my mind.

As long as it's not a QB i will be happy. All the other 3 are more deserving.

Suh has been the best player ALL season long. Then he capped it off with a DOMINATING game vs the number 2 team in the nation.

He's a freakin DL leading one of the top defenses in the nation, in tackles. He leads Neb in tackles!! A sack per game from the DT position. The man is a beast.

Who was better ALL season long???:confusedshrug:

Suh. Arguably the most dominant season for a defensive player ever. Gerhart has had a great year, but he has feasted on some really bad defensive teams in the PAC-10. And his signature performance came against an ND team that I could probably run for 100 yards against. Ingram has also had a strong season, but that offensive line for Alabama is dominant.

McCoy/Tebow should not be there over Spiller either. I can make an argument that LeFevour from Central Michigan should get a spot over those 2 also.
