I doubt he'll re-sign if they don't bring Dwight Howard.

Nets are one of the worst teams in the league (they would be better with Brook Lopez but still nothing special) and he could get the max if he signs elsewhere.

Is that his scapegoat for him shooting like a bum? You play like garbage and have the nerves to say shit like this. SMH.

Some wins could help for the visibility of the team Deron

Regardless of whether Deron will stay with Nets or not, hes showing that he actually cares about the team and wants it to improve. If he decides to walk away, it is the fault of our front office's not capable of getting anything done. I believe there is gonna be no hard feelings even if it happens, unlike the LBJ-Cavs, Melo-Nuggets and Dwight-Magic drama.

Our FO is trying their best to get Howard, and did not sign guys like Nene for a reason.

Well I know, but the truth is that we are basically gambling for the possibility that Dwight will not get traded somewhere else midway during this season. There is always a risk involved with such gambling, and the worst part is that we do not have a backup plan. Lets hope it will work out in the end, but frankly I am not going to be disappointed if it wont. The bright side is that the front office is actively trying to improve the team, instead of tearing our pieces apart like Bruce Ratner ever did. Oh man you cant imagine how happy I was when Ratner sold the team!

Well, its a good possibility we get Howard, and it is a pricey gamble but if it works, that'd be golden. And if we dont get Howard and Deron leaves so be it.

We work on a young core of Swag-Lopez- and some stud in the Draft like Davis/Barnes or Gil-Christ.

It's not news that he does not like Newark. But this is the first time he's come out and directly stated on the record that he does not like the actual arena.

D-Will was probably asked a bunch of leading questions, and to one of them he mentioned that the temporary arena, which is definitely not built for NBA basketball, doesn't have acceptable visibility. He's not trying to make excuses for anything.

So the Nets could have a top lottery pick, Brook Lopez back, Deron Williams and still have room to sign Howard? Man that potential team could be killer

He can get more money if he re-signs with the Nets, they have his Bird rights.
