12/28 7:30 p.m. EST - Atlanta Hawks (17-9) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (7-23)

Kyrie just made a ridiculous shot at the halftime buzzer to cut the Hawks' lead to 55-54.

Irving is solid, as always, with 15 points on 6-8 shooting, 3 assists, 2 steals and no turnovers.

Waiters has been unreal in this game and is showing flashes of brilliance. He has 16 on 7-13 shooting with 3 rebounds, 1 assists and two steals.

The Hawks have gotten huge production from their bench. Anthony Tolliver had 11 points in the second quarter and Teague has 14.

Good game thus far.

Kyrie playing beautiful basketball right now. This backcourt has so much potential, it is incredible.

They are currently the highest scoring starting backcourt in the whole NBA.

Right now, at the start of the third, Kyrie and Dion have combined for 35 points on 15-23 shooting.

that was the quietest 19 point half ive ever seen. irving was deferring to dion a ton in the first half, and dion played great.

tristan had a couple nice passes. its not like its a strength of his or anything, but hes become a competent passer/ball handler this year.

smith took so many terrible jumpers that half. dude is 27 years old and he still hasnt figured out, that that just sitn his game.

fun game so far

Zeller is a much better fit for TT's game than Andy. Together with Zeller he's got more room to operate because he basically plays almost the kind of game as Andy, but just not as good YET.

i was wtarting to lose faith in tristan, but he has been playing fantastic since andy went out. his rebounding is pretty good now, he has the exact same rebound rate as blake griffin.

It makes me wonder... Should we just deal Andy, get what we can get, and move forward? Tristan looks fantastic in his stead. He and Zeller are really a perfect frontcourt combo. They have even been good together defensively, which was my biggest concern when Varejao went down.

I know we are 7-23, but forgive me if I'm excited watching these young guys together. This game would not be close if the bench wasn't so pathetic.

that was a really nice play by irving, with the stepback-pumpfake-dumpoff to zeller. shoulda been free throws

Well, that's that. They just completely out-executed the Cavs in the final three minutes.

irving has to shoot, or at least initiate ever possession from here on out

jeff teague is a very solid defender

zeller has fallen asleep a good few times tonight, to give horford easy looks, or in this case freethrows

Kyrie had a great all-around game, but he was part of that collapse down the stretch. I didn't like that contested 3-pointer early in the shot clock when it was 95-94 and about 2:30 left. That was the beginning of the Hawks' final run.

Such a well played game by this team until the last few minutes... Disappointing.

Damn as far as a exciting team I have really slept on the Hawks this year, there blend of ball movement, atheltic ability and skills really impresses me as far as enjoyabilty in watching them.

Teauge/Lou Will had great offensive guys and Korver man that dude has hit a lot of daggers in his career his clutchness is underrated.

The colour commentator for the Cavs is hilarious to makes the game more enjoyable dudes a beast on the mic.
