that sucks I was really hoping it wasn't true

I just had a son and I am not sure I want him playing football ever...I have been debating for it with the wifey a little, she is very much against it.

I tried to tell her that pee-wee league and jr. high are harmless for the most part but I read some article on those years actually being the worst for it because it is during the ages that the brain is developing the most...:(

I love football, and the NFL in particular, but it just isn't a safe sport to play...neither is boxing...any sport that requires repeated hitting of the head...I think MMA is safer than football and boxing actually.
