Bulls to be in ECF
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/index?...lid=gn_NBA_NBA
ESPN - NBA Section - Poll Bottom right hand side Looks like America sees the Chicago Bulls and the obvious gimme pick of the Miami Heat for the Eastern Conference Finals match up. Do you? ![]() |
I'd like to see the Cavs add a key player and meet the Bulls in the conference finals for the first of many times in the years to come.
|
ESPN polls suck. The Heat had the lowest votes to win the whole thing when the playoffs started.
|
They'll get to the second round. I'm not willing to bet on more than that.
|
Possibly...
|
They wont pass the 2nd round....they are a pretty young squad... If they meet Miami again...the results will be the same as they were this past post season
|
only chance is having a great regular season because otherwise they are meeting Miami before that.

They take a step back, Wallace is the most overrated player in the history of the NBA and will grind Chicago's offense to a halt. What they needed was post scoring, which Ben doesn't provide. |
I can't see them not making the CF. They just seriously need somebody who can score in the post. Maybe they could trade for Zach Randolph and have him split mins with Chandler to mix things up? Do they have any contracts they could send?

As for post scoring, Melvin Ely is a cheap option. |
Chicago is just the flavor of the week 'tis all, ECF will be Heat vs Cavs.

Randolph is a smaller Eddy Curry with rebounding skills. You know how many block shots he had in 74 games last season? 14. An average of .19. Dude is rather athletic, deceptively quick, and has long arms and he can't block a shot if Earl Boykins shot it infront of him. If Skiles is all about defense, Zach won't get a lick of playing time.

Word is Chicago is heavily interested in Chris Wilcox. |

They'll have Allen and Songaila off the bench to score (not to mention their backcourt 1-3 and bench which can all score). And when your defense is going to be as great as this defense is, you don't need to score THAT much. These guys are going to be better defensively than the Pistons at their best. How much they really need to score? Overrated huh? Watch the Pistons crumble and become below average defensively without him. |
