Even though I'm an independent, I leaned liberal most of my life up until COVID, that's when Democrats went crazy with their vaccine mandates, censorship & woke politics. And it's not just me, people are leaving the democratic party in record numbers, especially men.

Parties change all the time, the democrats in office today are not the democrats from 10-15 years ago. Black people were pro-republican up until the 60's or so because the political parties shifted.

I've been critical of Trump when it comes to the Epstein files and his love for Israel, besides that I think he's the right person for the job. The so called "experts" have been wrong about the tariffs, and more importantly, egg prices are down. I know that is such a huge deal for OP since he made a thread on it.

1- DOGE checks: Remember that? "5k rebates for Americans!" Now they're drumming that beat again and people are falling for it all over again.

2- Eliminating payroll/income taxes: You can't have 10-50% tariffs without eliminating income taxes. Truth is, they didn't even really try to get this done, only eliminating taxes on tips and OT. What they didn't tell voters is that this is capped on income up to $25,000. Oh, and what happened to eliminating taxes on social security? Whoops, fell for it again.

3- $2 Trillion in saving: That has since been reduced to $500 billion. The reality is that the administration's own estimates sees a rise in national debt of $5.5T.

Honestly, this is a joke. Now job creation has been revised over the last 3 months to only +78,000, forcing Trump to fire the BLS director.
