Gotta give credit to Robert's for trusting Yamamoto for another inning there after being burned by keeping in Ohtani after the 2nd.

With context considered that may be the best pitching performance of all time in a series. Bumgarner in 2014 is statistically better but the Blue Jay's lineup from top to bottom is all-time great. Hell even hobbled Springer was a hit machine in game 7.

I've never seen a series with that many close defensive plays. The Jay's were a spike away from winning the world series. Brutal.

Yoshi was the closest we’ve seen but Bumgarner in 2014 was just different. It wasn’t just the World Series too. Completely dominant throughout the playoffs.

True and baseball is all about those little moments. Freddie contributed almost nothing offensively but had the walk off in game 3.

Mookie didn't do anything of note at the plate either but had the big hit in the 3rd in game 6 that ultimately won the game. Truly a game of inches.

Tough. I wish they would’ve moved the runner to 2nd when Kirk was up at bat. I knew a double play ball was going to happen. Bluejays made some costly mistakes towards the end of that game. I would’ve sat in that dugout for a minute knowing you had the win and fumbled it away. Dodgers with the scoop and score. Not sure why I even feel bad for the blue jays. When Joe Carter had me feeling like the Dodgers had them feeling. Guess I really like Vlad Jr. Plus bluejays seem like a blue collar team. Haven’t followed them at all this season besides playoffs. So not sure how accurate of an assessment that is for them.

Pretty much everybody but Daulton Varsho. Special points to Ernie Clement, who now has the most hits in a single MLB post-season history at 30, and Vladdy who tied the previous record set by Randy Arozarena at 29.

Who are the best players/pitchers you’ve seen?

The Jays certainly have talent but they seem to have made it a point to value on base and putting the ball in play over slugging. That's always tough in the playoffs because one or two manufactured runs here or there can be the difference in the series much less the game.

Well you know about Ohtani. Judge is one of the best hitters of all time. Vladdy is a dawg but has moments in the regular season where he loses focus so the overall numbers don't always match the talent.

Bobby Witt Jr. might be the best overall player in the league when factoring in all 5 tools; and he's really young. Could be a face of the league type of guy soon if the Royals make moves and become more relevant.

As for pitching, it's Skubal/Skenes and then everyone else at the moment. Yamamoto could get up there if he stays healthy but I don't know if he has the sheer dominance capabilities that those other 2 have. Skubal/Skenes are all time level guys. Garrett Crochet is another that could get up there too.
