In Season Tournament - Lakers
How do they end up playing these cupcake teams each time?

Shut up Jordansbulls from realgm.

Re: In Season Tournament - Lakers
Kleber looks surprisingly good tonight, especially with his diverse on-ball defense. Might come in very handy, if LeBron comes back just in time to snag another In Season Fake championship.

Re: In Season Tournament - Lakers
Anyone else catch JJ Reddick, immediately upon calling the “congratulatory rest timeout”, when up 52-32 midway thru the 2nd ?
As he walked out to mid court, unmistakably said:
“ABOUT DAMN TIME”
As a lifelong DUKE hater, I simply cannot hate Reddick as Lakers coach.
Give him the MF award already lol

Re: In Season Tournament - Lakers
Clippers, Mavs n Grizzlies were all supposed to be at least decent to be fair. Lakers vs Clippers might be good.

Re: In Season Tournament - Lakers
Hopefully can do something without losing with HCA to Minnesota again.

Redick is a absolute buffoon. He STARTS Bronny James, the worst player in the league. Who proceeds to drop yet another goose egg. Redick is either being blackmailed, or he's the absolute dumbest coach in the sport.

He went with defense. Smart out with a virus and Bronny is ass on offense but at least he can pass and he hustles on D so it kinda fit the profile. Dumb decision no doubt but it's the RS lol this is the time to experiment.

Dog, tell me you actually don’t know why the Lakers did that ??????
Are you serious ?
Think about sport marketing…
… does it largely cater to die hard sports fans ?
Die Hards who watch no matter what ?

I know Bronny gets chants because he's kind of a freak show, but there's NOBODY buying tickets to see Bronny. Come on now. Surely you don't think he's an actual draw. Flop Fest Reaves sells more tickets than Bronny.

Minnesota, Denver, OKC, GS, Houston should be some of the teams otherwise whats the point when you don't play of the top teams?

Apparently you didn’t know why.
It certainly wasn’t to sell tickets.

Of course I know why. But Redick doesn't have anything to do with that. Either he's taking orders from somebody on how to play his team - in which case he's spineless, or he's getting paid off, or he's the dumbest coach in the history of the sport. There really are no other explanations.

If you know why, share with us.
I thought it was quite obvious.
Normally a coach starting a G-leaguer (at best), at the direction of ownership/management, would be more concerning. But this works well off the court.
FYI, I’m a LeBron hater and Bronny truther….
