ESPN Fast Facts
Quote:
• The Cavaliers are the first team to start the playoffs 8-0 since the 2005 Heat.
• Only Oscar Robertson in 1963 averaged at least 30 points, nine rebounds and six assists in a single postseason. He did it through 12 games. Through eight games, James is on pace at 32.9 ppg, 9.8 rpg and 6.8 apg.
Re: May 11: Cavaliers at Hawks Cavaliers, Game 4 (Round 2)
Terrible series for the Hawks, but overall a terrific season for the Hawks.
Won most games in 10 years and got into the second round of the playoffs.
Now the big questions arise:
1. Keeping Zaza.
2. Keeping Bibby.
3. What to do with Marvin.
4. Keeping Flip.
5. What to do with Law.
6. What to do with Speedy Claxton's contract.
7. What to do about getting another big and a reserve shooter.
Hopefully we can:
1. Keep Bibby at say 4 years, 36 million.
2. Re-sign Zaza to MLE style contract.
3. Keep Flip at MLE style contract.
4. Buy out Speedy and use that money elsewhere.
5. Sign another small forward (Hedo) and let Marvin go.
6. Sign Shelden Williams as a backup big at low end contract.
7. Draft a shooter.
Re: May 11: Cavaliers at Hawks Cavaliers, Game 4 (Round 2)
At no point in any of the games where ATL would put together a mini-run was I worried. This team was out of their league. They have some nice players to work around, but they don't make sound decisions and perform the intangibles that truly successful teams do.
Glad we have the rest. One can never have too much rest in the postseason. Just gonna sit back and watch Orlando/Boston duke it out and bang eachother around.

Agreed. I was worried about Z spraining his ankle and coming back in. I was hoping we could close it out and he could get a good 4 days rest at least. Next game should be either Saturday (if Boston/Orlando go to 6 games) or Monday (if they go to 7 games).

It's just Lebron being Lebron steppin' up again as usual keeping his Cavs playing the minimum playoff games at (8) and winning at a high intensity level without anyone's doubt. Now the Cavs probably get another week of rest just more fun under the sun for him and his teammates to enjoy while other teams struggle it out.
Well this PO run has been a breeze for the Cleveland Cavaliers and aslong as Lebron keeps his team's engine well oiled and tuned up without showing any signs of rust will keep'em clicking on all cylinders for the much anticipated yet harder tasks they'll face in the June showdown!
