CP3 is said he will keep his options open when he becomes a free agent next summer. Their have been some rumbling about him signing with the Atlanta Hawks or Knicks. If CP3 leaves do you think Eric Bledsoe can handle being the starting PG? Also, seeing that Chauncey Billups is somewhat undersize playing at SG, do you think Travis Leslie will ever step and become the starting SG?
If Paul leaves, Clippers are going to be in some deep trouble. Bleds can't be a starter unless a Livingston was next to him and Leslie is most likely going to be waived sometime this year or not be brought back unless he impresses.
Just don't even want to think of CP3 jumping ship, at all.
if he leaves (which is very unlikely) then they are in somewhat decent shape. blake will have to become the man and bledsoe/jordan will need to grow a lot if they want to continue being a playoff team. i think thompkins is gonna get some good minutes this year if/when there is an injury and will prove he is a solid pro, don't know about leslie.
CP3 isn't going anywhere, He's only putting himself in place for a big contract. Clippers need to show they're committed to winning which they have, great city to play in, top flight arena in an exciting section of town. He's not going to get a better situation. Only way I see him leaving is if the front office goes sideways and tries to undervalue him next July
