Inside has Amir backing tayshuan over Carlos? Intrested to see what yall think of this, not knowing Amir's game except from the highlights. I'm excited about hte upcoming pistons team, has bench potential./
delfino maybe gone so it might just have to happen, plus amir has huge upside and leaping ability which is something the pistons need. Tayshaun flys high, so does amir, there will be very little drop at the position besides derfensive purposes.
Because he's unhappy. reports out of spain indicate some discussion between some team ( i forget which) and the pistons to by out his contract.
On a related note, I think SUpa Dupe brings a lot of the same hustle and athleticism to the floor as Amir and may be ready for an increased role in the bench.
There's a report every six months out of South America that he's unhappy. Though he always denies it to the Detroit press. It's just South American papers trying to start ****.
Ive seen Amir play many games in HS, I doubt he will play SF, he always played PF or C in HS, he will have to work very hard on defense to be able to defend the quicker SFs in the league.
Amir will not play SF, no way he can guard them, not in a million years.
Hmmn, I just saw that amir is now almost 7 ft tall. Power forward of the future? Previously I was thinking of him as more like an al harrington/lamar odom type. Looking forward to seeing him in some preseason games
yeah he'll be splitting his time between the d-league and the main roster. i would take him over dupree, but at his age they want him to actually play and the only place he'll get major minutes is in the d-league.
i dont know. Supa dupe cant shoot it but man he's an athletic hustler. I agree that amir has much mor eupside but right now for spot minutes you go with the SupaDupe. Hes the only one on the pistons that can effectively sub for Tay
